Good Wednesday To All.....Morning ! It's another foggy event in Florida ...but boy is it going to be a Whopper today..suppose to be 80 degrees wooooooo hooooo... now ya know I'll be in sucking up the AC...amazing. I ordered an Electric Blanket for when I came down as mine went by the way side..It was sure chilly and having to have this heater on (heat pump not the same as a good ole furnish) and of course it was back ordered..(typical ) and I had to go with me flannels on...well finally the dang thing arrives and now it's gonna be 80...guess it will stay in the package for awhile LOL...did ya ever notice that..I mean something goes on sale and you pop on line and it's back ordered...well I got another one of those goody stories...the GT Xpress 101... I've watched that informercial for awhile and I thought now you know that really looks great and boy for the price it's a great deal.. I mean they are saying for two easy payments of 19.95 plus shipping and handling..(let's not forget that) well you even get another free but ya got ta pay that S and H too...LOL Well I bit the big one.. I ordered this baby and had visions of two going together to make up goodies and all that neat stuff they showed ya...mmmmmmm it came and so did the bill enclosed (this should have been my first clue) 104.60...yep!! and I opened the box cause I surely thought they must have sent me several units...HA ! A cheaply packaged (junk) bunch of tools..Grater, knives, whisk, measuring cups, spoons, and oh fluid injector and a plastic press for a large size dough circle...and the machine (2) booklets to make such fabulous goodies...5 of those plus the manual and bonus booklet... Ticked off to say the least I called and told them what for..and I was gonna yada, yada, yada....

Well, I decided to give this unit a try.....Forget about it !!! everything I attempted stunk..I mean it actually came out and hit the trash can... and they say things only take 7 minute or till golden brown...which by the way only one side does that..and it took..one recipe..27 minutes...HA I got Stooped ! Just like the recipes... so I'm boxing everything up... and even gave another call...(like they really care) and now it's costing me again to ship this junk back... So....learning lesson... Buyer beware !!! What you see is not always What you get ...and boy what a bargain too... NOT...So keep this in mind Sista's ...Don't buy into those Gimmicks...

Now for some good news...as I stroll through our forum..and have released that GAS LOL or is it Belched !!! (Echo) I'm ready for a good smile ....Are ya ready, well here comes "The Sista's...

Ok, it's that time and I'm in need of a big cuppa...I'm setting my table...and let's see... I've got Oatmeal Cookies with Raisins some Applesauce cake with Rum plumped Raisins..(seems I'm pushing Raisens this morning ) and big time Biscotti...LOL Soosie did ya try one yet ?? Remember Dunk or you'll visit your dentist real soon...and I know Echo..she's in need of a mighty big cup... I've got several of them..in fact that's what I use as I'm too lazy to get up and down for refills...HA ! Sista's as always it's been a joy to stroll through and I so enjoy making those pictures for ya..

Remember it's only 8 days left before it's Christmas..(now don't ya wanna choke me ) LOL...Hope ya all have them cookies for Santa.. and have peeked over at Recipes...NO Christmas Cookies.... Hey, we need all the help we can muster up.. come one come all.... put them babies up there..!! Gentleladybear...where's them "Cake Balls" LOL.. gots to see what them are about...the name sounds interesting too... oh and AcadianMom...(Martha) good seeing you post.. sure have been wondering how ya been..

Wednesday/Fosamax day again! ACK! But it's been the required half hour since I swallowed the pill, so I'm now having coffee!! And, Barb, I haven't had the pleasure of trying biscotti yet! Perhaps after pay day I will have to buy me a bag just to say I HAVE tried it! And I will be sure to dunk it!

I got a wonderful call from my son in Orlando last night...he and Melissa, his girlfriend, found round-trip flights from Orlando/Sanford to Plattsburgh for a TOTAL of 267 dollars!!! For BOTH of them, not each! SO....I am so excited that they will be home for a week from Dec. 26 through Jan. 2nd! YIPPEE!!!! This will be a good Christmas for me, after all. I had resigned myself to spending the time off alone, so this has now made it seem like a real Christmas to me! I can't believe the price they found!

18 deg. F. out there this morning, with beautiful snow falling! Just right for skiing, and I hope to do that after school today.

Off I go now to take a hot bath, get dressed, and feed the animals. I hope you all have a great Wednesday!

Good morning Barbzeee. I sure do need a cup of coffee this morning. I've been packing for my trip to Illinois via Texas and also packing for Arizona in hopes of getting to leave for there when I get home. We hope to leave the 1st of Jan. if the Dr. releases Bash to travel the 30th when she sees him. She still may have to have physical therapy in Az. but it will be warmer and she can get out and walk more. Here it is cold and rainy!! Yard is one big mud puddle!!! Of course, we needed the rain so I'm not complaining. I don't know if I will have access to computer or not while I am gone so ya'll have a very Merry Christmas and keep the campfires burning!!

Soosie,... great that goog and melissa will be with you for Christmas! What a great price! Where did they find those prices? I tried to find a reasonable price from Burlington to either Mobile or Pensacola and it was well over $500 - $700! I was trying to get to Gulf Shores, AL to hang out with some friends for a few days. Prices like that will keep me right here at home!

Well, time for b'fast, I've already had my o.j. and pills and I'll grab some cereal and toast and hit the trail!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Coffee?? Did someone say I needed coffee??? OMG I think I need a gallon of the stuff this morning. I've been guzzling it since I hit the kitchen. Completely drained my first cup out on the back porch this morn while Shade was doing her circuit of the yard. I'm now on my 4th cup. All I want to do is go back to bed. Even with all the sleep night before last I was having a time of it keeping my eyes open at work yesterday. I get bored and the big room we work in gets so freaking hot. Would really scare me half to death that something major was wrong but I'm not the only one who fights with going to sleep up there. I am gonna check into getting some monster vitamins tho!!!

Soos is gettting a super duper Christmas present this year!! Awesome news Soos. I just know that your over the moon at the thought of your son and girlfriend flying up. Doesn't get any better than that. If she's a Fl girl bred and born just wait until she gets a load of winter in your neck of the mountains. LOL

And Fernie is gonna be traveling far and wide. Will keep the fingers crossed for Bash to be good to go!!!!!

Ok, where's Cedar? I know she's out there somewhere with fingers flying. I hit submit on this and it will probably tell me that she has already done that submit button.

I guess it's time to go check my email and do my clicks. And also get my comic fix then I can get dressed for the day and maybe get out of here on time. Off to work I go.

Morning to everyone - this will have to be quick as hubby is outside connecting car and I still have a couple of things to put away in here - including laptop. Not too long for now we'll be in Mexico on our way - hoping we will stop at Sonora RV in Hermosillo for the night, couldn't get through to them on the phone yesterday. Then on to Bahia Kino tomorrow until after New Years. Will try to keep in touch.

Good morning all...it's a whopping, down right tropical 14 above zero! I'll maybe have to wear my uninsulated coveralls outside this morning!

Yup got the water going but last night one of the furnaces refused to kick on. I told Paul I thought maybe we were low on propane as the flame on the stove was mostly yellow. We are down to 20% on the gauge, in the red zone, so he ordered a tankful for Friday. Boy, it is so nice to have that big tank out there behind the barn. We made it over 2 months without a refill. So anyway we went out and turned off the big tank, thinking our pressure was low not allowing the zone 2 unit to run, and turned on the rig's main tank that we mainly use for a back up -- it made no difference. I asked him if there was a fuse -- he said yup, beind the metal door under the frig next to the AC breakers. And yes one furnace fuse was burned so I found my handy fuse puller and replaced it. The furnace kicked off immediately. Now, that makes it sound like he's a dunderhead when it comes to mechanical stuff. He's actually great but in the end phase of the flu and not feeling too good. But my Daddy taught me right! I've learned to be quite mechanical, electrical, etc. so for the most part -- I can figure things out for myself. I think women with thier intuitive side are many times just as or maybe more so capable of doing stuff mostly left to the guys.

I'd been chatting off and on all day on the Tiffin message board and the guys were giving us ideas on how to fix our thermostat problem. (that's another issue we'll deal with some day). I also wanted to know, if we happen to buy a new rig, was the aqua/hyra hot system good in cold weather. Oh the guys on there were going on how cold it was and the coach stayed really nice, even the water bay, at a frigid 32! We aren't intending to buy a new coach but who knows...I'd sure like to have the room of a 4 slide coach. Then I could set up a table for my sewing maching. But when it's really cold we keep the big slide pulled in (we have 2, 1 in front & one in the bedroom). I tell ya...it's like sardine's in a can living in the coach with the slides pulled in! The poor dog is constantly being stepped over and we'd best just sit down and not move. Anyways I guess we jinxed our heat situation...but they did help us figure out what to do about our badly located thermostat. Ours was about the 1st Phaeton (1st model year for the Phaeton) back in 2002 so...you can guess it -- lots of design issues they have been correcting ever since. But we are stuck with our issues and have with Tiffin's help corrected most of them. Tiffin is so wonderful to work with. They really bend over backwards to help thier coach owners. Many people take the long ride to Red Bay, AL just to have work done at the factory. We've been there 3 times and are due to go again.

I will post pictures but have to remember which ones I've not put on here. I thought I'd pretty much downloaded all my photobucket stuff to here but will check again. I'll post later today. Right now I have to restart the computer since it just updated.

We (Mom, Dad, Paul & I) are going to a neighboring town (Chadron) to do our last minute Christmas shopping and for sure get storm ready again. The weather channel says we are due for another weekend blizzard. I think this one will hit us square on the nose with a deeper snowfall so we'd best be ready. We'll need to get the splitter out and get more firewood ready, fill the water jugs just in case, and have the pantry stocked. Out here we stay prepared. One never knows if the power will go out, how long it will be out, or if the road will get drifted shut. It can be days before power is restored or roads plowed. A lot of times when we head to town we take overshoes, heavy gloves, coveralls, and floppy flap hat in the trunk. There's been a few times when some one has gotten stuck.

Well, I need to get off this program, restart the 'puter and eat something. Then I'll see if I have time to upload photos before the turkeys come knocking for breakfast!

Soos, I think you just got the best present you could have gotten this year. Lucky you - I know how much you miss them while they're in FL. Are they going to come back up again this year for the summer?

Have a safe trip and great Christmas, Fernie and I hope the doc says it's ok for Bash to travel. I would think AZ would be better for her for many reasons during this recuperation!

Carol - safe travels and we'll be watching for you whenever you can get here- and your pictures!

Cedar, wish you could have found such a good deal on plane tix - you deserve a vacation to somewhere warm - keep checking, you never know!

Lori - I like doing laundry - but more so on days like today with the chill in the air, I just love pulling out the warm laundry and folding it. LOL no, that doesn't mean I want you to bring me yours - yep, I could hear your brain working

Shell, I'm glad you figured out that furnace - with the temps you have there, you can't afford to have the heat quit working. And, yep, we women are resourceful - more so than many give us credit for. Let them think we are silly, stupid or weak - we know better. And so do the good men out there.

Now, I'm going to be running back here later to see where Liz and Belle have been off to today!

Flight from there to Plattsburgh is 34.50!
Flight back to Orlando from Plattsburgh is 82.50

Add in all fees, taxes, etc. etc......total is 267.00----for BOTH of them!

Hope that airline has wings on their planes!

Gotta take Molly out for a romp in the snow!!

Soos, that airline is probably not a possibility for flights to Pensacola or Mobile. Last flight I did to Mobile was on USAir. Not sure who has that route to those cities now. Not being a major destination for 99% of the world leaves them out there in the expensive lists.

Glad they got their flights so cheaply,... I'm so happy for you!
