Lake Murray, OK needs Camp Hosts

Just got off the phone with my friend Beverly in Ok. They camp host there at one of the parks at Lake Murray and 2 of their camp hosts quit today. They were people that were not used to workkamping and they decided they didn't like it. They quit and pulled out today. Mike is now working the park he has, manning the guard house and trying to cover the other parks. There is no pay, get your site free and they ask for about 25 hours. Beverly works at the ranger station so she has been helping him when she's not working there. They've really had a time with hosts this season. Mike and Beverly are wonderful people!

If anyone is interested, let me know and I will put you in touch with Mike. The camp hosts that were there in the other camps had been coming for years, but due to health issues, they couldn't this season. One guy has been hosting there for 11 years so this is really odd for this state park.
