What a scare! So glad the news is not as bad as it could have been. This is one of life's wake up calls. Live each day to it's fullest, take better care of yourself so you can live your dream. You have great family and great friends all wishing you the fastest and complete recovery.

Ava - I know it's no fun to be in the hospital but it's where you should be now. Take care - you'll probably be released tomorrow!!

Ava, so glad it wasn't a stroke. I've had Bells Palsy and so has my daughter. My doctor told me it was caused by stress and it went away gradually on its own. I don't have any residuals but my daughter still has a slight difference in one side of her face.

Glad you are doing well there. Hopefully, you will be home soon.

I have had some bad and good hospital experiences--the bad was when I complained of some symptoms after knee surgery that were ignored that turned out to be very serious, and completely unrelated to my knee. My advice is to question everything and be a "bad" patient. Make sure you are satisfied with answers and don't let them "blow you off."

And watch out for those Nurse Ratchetts!!

out first.

ok, so waiting for lunch, ordered a grilled cheese and a strawberry cheesecake. When
doctor gets reading on MRI hopefully they will let me go home. Its not bad here but
my girls are sure missing me. That MRI took 40 minutes of that thing stopping and going
etc. I've never had a problem with doing MRI's but that last 10 minutes was really stressful
for my bladder  started fidgeting and finally we were done and he let me use the
bathroom.
My left eye is driving me crazy.

woohoo, I'm home now, mri was all good and not even a TIA, its all the bells palsy.
Prednisone for that for a week and do some muscle massage and exercise, make funny
faces to help the healing. But have to watch my sugar and carbs intake cause the prednisone
makes the sugar level go up and we certainly don't want to kick in any diabetes. I am
grateful. :D
