Sharon that balls cut in half is a great idea and its a lot cheaper than buyer cones.... Its raining where I'm at this weekend I hope the gtg at Crossville don't get washed out too bad.. We're in for some pretty good storms.... Next week is Mothers day and I'm expected to be home.. so I guess it will be three weeks before I head out again but that gives me a chance to work on ways to keep the dry goods in the cabinets.. I checked the latches and they seem pretty secure and I have those spring loaded bars to hold things back but that didn't work well for me.. so I've put on the ole thinking cap and decided to cut some plywood the width of the cabinet and make it about 3 inches high and just screw it to the frame from the inside. that way it won't be visible when the door is closed and it won't keep the door from shutting... I will just have to reach over to retrieve my goods...Only time will tell if it works or not I'll keep everyone posted...... I'l off here for a while and I'm going to go poke around the site and get my bearings about how things work in this forum...... Have a great day

Adding another welcome.
We have another member who will be in Crossville much of the summer. I plan to come visit her, would like to meet you if you could join us. No dates set yet as her arrival has been delayed for some surgery, but do let us know if interested.

Welcome to the forum. Lots of women RVers over in that part of the country. You will do fine once you get back in practice. Stuff happens and you have had the bad stuff happen. So good times ahead. I think we have all had something go flying...mine was a bottle of wine when I stopped real quick. Just flew right out of the ice chest and right down the aisle. Thank goodness it was white wine because it was soaked into the carpet by the time I could stop.

You can also use milk/water jugs in the parking lot for practice. For the stuff falling out of the cabinets, try this. You have the poles in the cabinet, put some of the cutting plastic sheets behind them. You can get them 3 in a pack. I use those in my glass wares, box food and medicine cabinet. I also have 4 place mats that I use the same way. Works for me.

Looking forward to your adventures.
