Well...coming to the gals here for some advice.....Missy is a sweet little dog & has a lot of great qualities...so with that I am happy...however, the big problem & for me it is a really important one, is that she vomits in the car. My car is old ('91 Lexus sedan), but in extremely great condition so the ride is smooth....I've put her in a pet carrier (zipped in)....she throws up, so I've put her in there unzipped so she can stand up & look outside....she throws up...I've taken her on short trips (3-4 blocks), longer trips (3-4 miles).... a little at a time to work up from short to longer....doesn't matter...90% of the time she throws up. If she can't ride in the car which is a smooth ride, she's not going to do well in the RV...that's for sure. Yesterday I took her with me to my son's house for my Grandson's birthday party...wasn't 2 blocks away from my house & she threw up. At my son's house (he has a Lab), my other Grandson brougth his dog (a Lab also) and she they played with her (& put up with her tugging on their ears & jumping on their backs & of course she had a great time (guess the Labs did too....and they were very careful with her)....so on the way home no throwing up....however this morning she threw up again here in the house. Daughter says I should get sample dog food at Petco & see if it's that (I have very expensive puppy food with chicken)...Kelly also said Chicken is hard to digest so try Beef sample for puppies....she also said to cook some broccoli &/or carrots (chopped up small) & add that to whatever dog food I feed her....I'm really stumped....I really want to make this work, but if I can't have a traveling companion dog.....well, that's not good. Does anyone know if they grow out of this or ...is this just how she's going to be....Just looking for opinions & thoughts....I'm really concerned & don't want to give up, but don't want to deal with this for the entire future either....Advice will definitely be appreciated.....
