It's here ! Friday ..Thank Goodness...Morning. Paulette..see ! I did do the Duck Bubbles..hahahaha.. cept I wanted to do more..but just the thought of all that water..and yes, it's gonna be a wet one ...and tomorrow too..but there is promise of a Great Sunday...I'm starting to practice Zen.. yes, you got it.. in hopes that my mediation can bring more smiles to all of us..and that this weather gets back to some kind of normal ... Oh Yeah !

Ah I see Lizzie ( the ididaroad gang) has dropped in to say Hey You were on Top of the World..hey..you is singing many tunes.. and I did see Gert..belting out.. I could almost hear yell of the can can too.. uh oh Beth..I understand..Lizzie and Carol had to be strong..cause you know Beth..she'd join that group in a heart beat !! Love it and love all those wonderful pictures....See how show tunes fall into place too.....Wonderful ..just absolutely wonderful ...oh and dirt roads.mmmm does make you feel like out in the wilderness.. As for the town of Chicken..wonder if they got to meet OO (OliveOil's kin folk) ..keep them coming.. Hey gals.. she even went to the NORTH POLE.... Hope ya put a good word in to Santa, Lizzie

Sad for the person needing the help.. and sad for you too..cause things are tight and costly.. Again, something will pop up.. you just have to keep pluggin'...

I go for rides on my golf cart and (don't see the snakes) but can catch a few good shots of the gators..(just told we have some big ones now again) and the turtles and lots of birds.. I looked at my yard and I could actually see the grass growing..but oh so wet..can't climb on that tractor..even had a bunny pop her head..just to let me know she was there LOL..Yeppers..it's a field of long green blades..hahaha..it maybe dry enough on Sunday to cut...dunno...

Paulette.. Hope you were able to get someone closer to you.. to get that Brake Buddy system .. I asked my friend and the dealer she used closed up..and that would have been not far from you.. on Rt 40.

Well, looks like everyone is on a run some where..and sure hope you get a chance to pop in and let us know how you are or where you are...Cause there is always some one here waiting on ya.. Tis that time again...Yes, I have my steam mop in full swing again..don't even want to talk about it... it just gets done..

Coffee is perking..Kettle is Whistlin and OJ and Cola are in the frig.. please help your self..pull up a chair ..sit a spell..and let's hear what's happening on your side of the world....Banana Nut Blueberry bread..lots of small loaves..I had a bunch of Nana's I needed to use up.. Oh and I have some home made Plum/Blackberry/Grape combo jelly.. it's good ! Have some Corn Muffins...and the rest is history....

good morning
its a beautiful morning and I just poured my first fresh cup of coffee and now
were gonna go sit outside and enjoy the cool morning. My little Pixie's eyesight
is deteriorating again, she couldn't find her way back to bed this morning, she
cried at the bottom of the stair, then when they all went out she couldn't find
her way back up the step there either, Bandit and Gracie both were trying to
coach her and help her, thats when I noticed there was a problem and went
out and got her, she was so happy to see me. The vet says she has weird
cataracts on the bottom of the eyes, I need to take her to the doggy eye dr.
She can see up but not right in front of her.
Ok, we're off to sit outside for awhile, have a great day and be safe.

I'm going to try to get caught up on the posts,... been a busy few days here. Today will be a bit slower. whew! Heading out right after school today for weekend of camping. Then next week is only half days with students and a week from today we are DONE! yeeehawwwww! summer will pass way too quickly!

Another hot and humid day but seems like the humidity or dew point might be a little lower as it isn't so hard to breath outside today. I dashed to the store at 7:30am while it was only 81 degrees out.

I actually do have a trip planned, starting next weekend, a friend and her son are joining me on a road trip to Wisconsin and Michigan. Looking forward to the ferry crossing from WI to MI, I think!! I have done smaller ferries in WA but this is a biggie. Will visit a friend from high school who I haven't seen in several years and I'm especially looking forward to that.

Ava I sure hope Pixie can be helped with her eye sight, poor baby. We had an Irish Setter one time that had a progressive blindness disease and I remember how sad it was, she had been doing well in the show ring until it became really bad. My other dogs also tried to help.

Got a few more posts read. Doing this on battery/generator, so don't want to stay on forever, and am going to get on later and update my blog right up to current again. Love that! Got some cute pics (I hope - haven't uploaded them yet) from where I was last night.

Right now, I'm only a few miles down the road - stopped to check out a state park and I pulled into a spot and will stay till tomorrow. $10 and I'm looking right at another lake. Have a feeling, being Friday, the place might filll up later. But I'm here early and only one other rig and one tent camper here now. Will take pics of this also.

A weekend coming up, one more week of school, then I am off for two whole months! YIPPEE!!!!!

Next week will be some half days, I am hoping.....if we can all find a way to slip out without raising rancor in the upper ranks!

Sorry I haven't been able to get on in the mornings lately----by the time I get back in the house here, either from the leanto or from the trailer, I have just time enough to get myself ready, feed the critters, and head out the driveway. Soon I will be getting on later in the morning, so Barb will have already set the table, and I will be able to say good morning (albeit LATER morning) to you all.

I have so enjoyed the pictures from the Ididaroad Trek----that really makes my day! I can't WAIT to do it myself some day.

Coffee still tastes good, Barbzee, even though it's now late afternoon! Maybe I'll add some toddy for the body to it and kick back!

Well, it's not morning anymore, but thought I'd post now that I have some time! I had a really frustrating day on Tuesday with the RV dealer that I bought both of my RV's from! Needless to say, they have lost a customer, for good due to their "don't really give a chit" attitude. Zee already knows the story, but I'll fill the rest of you in.

Two weeks ago I called My RV dealer because I saw on their web site that they had the Blue Ox AutoStop in stock. It was the system I wanted to have installed on my Jeep before we head to Iowa next month. They told me that yes, they had it in stock and how much it would cost installed. Said it would take 6 hours and to call them when I was ready to bring it in. I called them this past Monday to see if Tuesday would work to bring it in and get it installed. They assured me that yes, they could do it on Tuesday. So, Tuesday morning I arranged for a friend to pick me up there so that I could drop off the Jeep. Dropped it at 9:30 and headed on to work. At 4:15 they called to tell me that they didn't have all the parts and that they couldn't get the parts anymore but that they had a much more expensive system they could sell me and install for me. I was pretty upset that they waited ALL day to call me. Went to pick up the Jeep and spoke with the Service Manager, who basically had that "don't really give a chit" attitude. I've spent too much money there over the years for them to treat me (or anyone else for that matter) that way. So, they have lost a customer - forever.

After doing some research, Blue Ox doesn't make or sell the AutoStop system anymore. The reason I wanted it is because I am lazy and wanted something that when I hook up the jeep to tow and plug it in, I want everything to work through the connections! I didn't want to have to set up a Brake Buddy system. But, it looks like I'll be going out tomorrow to another RV dealer to buy a Brake Buddy system.

Two weeks and counting till we hit the road. Next week I have a Freightliner service scheduled for the RV. Hopefully it will go more smoothly than the Jeep fiasco! At least the Freightliner place is north of here and not IN Baltimore! I'm not much on driving a 35' motorhome in Baltimore City!

We actually had sunshine all day today! Was a refreshing change. I'm hoping that tomorrow might be the same!

It's so disappointing when a business you've used and trusted for years becomes so stupid and uncaring about a good customer. Sorry to hear about your mess, Pauline. I suppose things like this could happen more and more often as companies go bankrupt or just plain go out of business, BUT, it's up to the managers of services to KNOW what's available and what's not any more---not to mention to call the customer ASAP to let them know what's up. Harumph! Here's hoping you find a new, more caring dealer to help you out-----OUTSIDE of the city!
