And Now, the Adventure Begins Again...

This morning we lovingly waved good-bye to our winter home for the last 4 yrs....Holbrook Pond CG, Ft. Stewart, GA. Time now to begin, again, our Grand Adventure and just be full-timers on the road... Camp Hosting is rewarding, but it's time to leave while we still like the job and the people still like us....

So the 3 of us packed up and headed south on US 17.....wait for it.......a whole 40 miles to Darien, GA and are now at Colsons' "Backyard" Campground..... Andy, Gwen, and their whole family have become wonder friends and invited us again this year to use their "campsite" with the famous "Tiki Hut" and salt marsh view....Hence, here we are for the next 2 weeks....


We're all set up and are relaxing....Tomorrow, (after I paid our bills online, yuk....) we've planned a trip into Brunswick to take Ernie's laptop to Staples for a tune-up and for a little lunch....

It's really nice to be just Rvers and not having to jump every time the phones rings...or a knock on the door....Life is good....

South, a little more....at least until Apr. 6th...then slowly back north.....arriving back at our "seasonal" campsite on or about April 19th....Stay tuned for more... Don't cha' just love a mystery......

Glad to see you're back on the road - and even a few miles is back on the road I love those short jaunts. Add all of them together and you can go long distances without it hitting the pocketbook so hard.
