GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!! YAWN

Yeah it's morning. Have been awake and up for almost 3hrs. Phone rang it was a picture mail from my son. Only thing is? It's so small I can't see it. Usually when I accept and open it re-sizes to the size of my screen but not this time.... Gonna have to have Kelly look at it! It's he77 when the eyeballs get old, wear glasses and still can't see the small stuff!!! Grrrrrr

Woke up day before yesterday to about 5" of snow out my door and it was still coming down. YUCK!!! Shade enjoyed the heck out of it of course! ;) She played, plowed and took numerous snow baths before I could finally talk her into go back into the house. She had a whole bunch of 'snowballs' hanging from her belly and chest!  Gads the floor got wet. Pulled off as many as I could and yep, she is starting to blow her coat. At first I thought OMG I got to stop pulling out her hair. But it didn't really seem to bother her a bit that hair was coming off with the snowballs as she didn't make a peep. Warned Kelly that she still had some on but she didn't hear me and up on the couch Shade went and laid down. When I noticed it I said something about having a damp soggy bed. She shagged Shade off then, lo and behold! Blanket was sure damp. ~sigh~ At least there was more than enough time for it to dry! :D

Saw that Illinois, Mo, In and OH got some wicked wind and a lot of damage from the storm that went thru the states. Illinois reported 10 dead from just one little town if I read the story right. My heart goes out to them and prayers too!

Both of our tax refunds have hit the bank so that is one weight off! WOOHOO!! Gas money to go on. Went to the store yesterday, gas was $3.64 on the reservation!!! Here in town for whatever reason it was only $3.43, needless to say when I saw that I put more gas in the truck to grab that price. Scares the crap out of me to think of the cost of travel to get home. Sheesh!!! It's almost a 2000ml trip and will probably be broke when we get there!! Have no idea what the price is at home, will have to ask David.

OK time to shut up for now, gonna go read and see what ya'll been up to. Please be sure to stay safe and lots of fun doing what ya want to do!

Love to all

Expected to wake up to snow this morning but it didn't happen. Apparently in Grass Valley, which is 5 miles from me, there was snow as the schools are closed. We're pretty happy to see this event as we have been having spring like weather. It's nice but we really need the rain and snow. After last year when we were 200% of normal this is really unusual.

Yayyyy!! The sun is shining and it's warming up after a long day of rain Monday and yesterday overcast and cold. Back to my lovely SoCal weather! Hit the road early this morning to take the GG's to school. One mom works and the other one had an appt this morning so grandma jumped in to cover. Dropped them off and then went to get blood drawn, stopped by the Dr's office to get the paperwork for my other tests straightened out and then stopped by the grocery on a quest for some more fresh veggies for my juicing experiment. Now I need to sit down with the phone and calendar and see if I can get some more appt's scheduled. What a PITA! The OBGYN that my doc contracts with isn't even scheduling appt's for another 2 weeks. They have a doc out sick, but I'm not worried about that one. The colonoscopy doc is for April 12th. Then heaven only knows when they can get me in for the test. sigh. But I'm forging ahead as per instructions from you guys!!

Sounds like the Tx GTG is starting off with fog...sure hope the weather clears up for it. Wendy, so sorry MF, hugs to you and your family. Wishing clear skies, warm weather and happy traveling for everone else.

Very foggy start to the day here in Ocala too. By noon the sun started peeking out now and then - first I've seen of it since last Saturday and I have to leave in the morning to inch my way back to Huntsville. At least it is now warm enough to turn air on and try to dry out the inside from all the rain. Something wrong with this picture; finally clearing here and I'm driving north into another rain system. Spoke with niece a few minutes ago; Huntsville is under tornado watch until 9:00 pm.

I joined Irmi for a bit this AM to observe the craft class in the parks community building; one group doing beading, another quilting. Appeared to be a good turnout.

Have skimmed back thru manuals again for my new rig. The LP sensor light which has been only green when I've noticed it over the past week turned orange last night. Has been going back and forth between green and orange ever sense. It is located only an inch or two above floor and print is so small cannot read (Irmi tried today and she cannot read either). Cannot find anything in manual about what might cause it to do this; also no discussion of the orange light. Green means all okay; red means run like h#@#!.

I'm hoping the sun dried awning out because I have rolled it back up; it had been full of wet leaves which I think are gone. I do really like the automatic awning; probably would not have used it very often if manual.

Think Carol and I are heading up to visit with Kathleen and Irmi in a little while, then plan route home.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Geez Sarah, sounds like you and I have the same weather gremlins attached to us!! Just be careful and drive slower. Any chance you could stay over for a while til the weather clears??? You need a few hours under your butt before you tackle bad weather.

The sun came out here today but still cool. So surprised to hear about the big twister that hit the midwest yesterday! Seems way too early for that, especially such a large one. So sad when it hits little towns like that.

Echo, next time try using a hairdryer on Shade when he gets the snow clumps on his fur. Take him into the bathroom tub/shower and do it there.

Wendy, so sorry to hear about your GD losing the baby. I like to think that the same soul will come back into the next baby they have.

Still praying for Bandit's safe return...

Thank you Barbie, that's a nice thought! I like to think his (or hers) great grandpa is holding him in heaven, the only one in the family that got to do so.
