Liz,

My thoughts, heart and prayers are with you as you recuperate physically and emotionally from this.

Comforting, protective energy being sent to Bandit with hopes that he will be with you safe and sound swiftly.

Glad you are still with us!

OMG - just reading this! I'm glad that you weren't more seriously hurt. Take it easy. DBF broke ribs last year and I know it's no fun.

Prayers for the other family and prayers that Bandit will be found today. And I hope the insurance company comes through for you quickly.

air (((((( hugs ))))) because of the ribs. :? Will be sending you strength to move through these days and your search for Bandit. You didn't need to give us a real time example of what happens out on the road in an emergency (like the other thread is discussing....) Hope the insurance process and medical don't wear you down too much. Thankful that you have sister support surrounding you.....

OH LIZ! Thank heavens you are with friends and have a bed in which to rest your weary, shaky body. Huge (gentle) hugs to you and your achy body. Well I know how painful broken ribs are----sneezing, coughing, laughing, turning over are all tortuous. But how thankful I am that your rig was solid enough to protect you from what could have been unthinkable. My respect for Roadtreks has gone even higher than it was. I am happy that Simba was ok, and am praying that Bandit will be found soon. I also hope the mom and her baby will make it, none the worse for wear. We never do know what lies around the next bend in the road, do we? I am thankful for Tina for posting on morning coffee to check out this message and alerting us that you are ok before I read it.....I would have panicked otherwise. Thanks, Tina.

Get some much-needed rest, enjoy the company of your friends, and I will be sending messages to Bandit to find his way home.

Thank you so much Birdie, Beth, and Conni, for being there and able to lend much-needed hands. I will be thinking of you all today and sending strength your way. Let me know if I can do anyting from far away....I feel helpless.

Love to all from me

Liz, I'm so sorry you are going thru this and so thankful you were not more seriously injured. Wish I were closer to lend a hand. If there is anything any of us can do from afar other than prayers, please do not hesitate to ask.

Just a thought if Bandit doesn't come to you right away, leave something with your smell and maybe some food. If he finds it maybe he will stay with it until you can find him.

Liz, what they all said. I know it will be replaying over in your head for awhile. And how like you to think of the other driver. I sure hope they are alright too. Hopefully Bandit is hiding somewhere nearby. Wendy

Oh dear Heaven, first thing I saw this morning....So very glad that all you have are some broken ribs, could have been so much worse. One thing about driving an rv, we have a lot more metal around us, we sit higher and about the only thing that's gonna take us completely out would be a big truck. Thank goodness the girls are there to take care of you and the furbabies. Good idea, Martha, on luring Bandit back. Poor little guy is probably terrified right about now.

I know you loved Silver Lining, but she did her job in keeping you safe in the worst possible circumstance. Wish I could be there to help, but you're in the best hands with the sistahs right now. Let them spoil you and milk it for all it's worth! LOL. In other words, take it easy and let yourself heal. I know that's a hard one for you.

Gentle hugs and prayers being lifted for you and the babies, and prayers for the mom and baby also.

OMG Liz, I'm so glad it wasn't worse than it was and you and Simba are safe. Please let us know when you find Bandit. I will keep you and the mother and child in my prayers. If you need to come to Kerrvile in your hunt for a new rig, my guest room is always there for you, for as long as you and your furbabies need it.

I was thinking of the irony of your rig's name - Silver Lining. Turned out to be a literal silver lining.
I can't stop thanking God that you're okay.

And like Karen said, if your search for a new RV takes you anywhere in my area, I have more room than I know what to do with. For as long as you need. And a spare car. And The Blue Marlin can become cat friendly...
