Hey, you are doing just fine! You remembered to bring the heater with you AND then you remembered that you had it with you. Two points, and point number three, you are not sitting there crying your eyes out about it so you are doing just fine. Come on over to the Texas GTG and we'll teach you how to light the oven. Lots of women on this forum can't do that. You have a roof over your head, you have heat, I'm assuming you have food, and hopefully you have a glass or two of wine. You are set!

Sarah and I were told by the factory rep that this rig had an auto start for the oven. GUESS WHAT.....IT DOESN"T. Sarah is doing fine, she didn't tell you she backed into her first parking slot and did a great job. We made labels for her buttons, so she wouldn't put the awning out when she meant to turn on a light.

Sarah was very efficient, she brought a can opener, but no can goods and no pots to put them in.

The coach is a beautiful one, and as time goes along and things relax, Sarah will be fine. She made her first dump, connected the water. Think the alarm problems are because of the newness wearing off the heater. I suggested she turn it on, go for a walk and open the windows until it get broken in. Sarah just remember, black water on the left, grey water on the right.

One more teaching was done, I showed Sarah what it looks like for the wind to rip your awning off. Yep I did it again, left it out and a strong wind gust took it down. With an electric awning she can easily put hers down.

All in all this has been an adventuresome trip, I am leaving in the morning heading to my grandson's wedding.

There is always something new to learn, even for us "experienced" RVers. That is why I'm taking the all day RV repair class at the Rendezvous in April. I agree with the instructor's theory that we can perform 80% of RV repairs ourselves. I have 3 space heaters now. One is back in DM's garage, as it wasn't working so well and is too big. My little one crapped out when it was cold here this winter, so I bought a new one at Sam's Club. Then, Ken cleaned out my little one and it worked Oh well! It doesn't take much space and is good to have a spare. I rarely use my furnaces. When I'm workamping, I have free electric, so why use my propane? I actually prefer the heat from the space heater, as it isn't such a blast of hot air. Did you get your start-up issue fixed?
