I want to scream...

Postby Yakn1 » Sat Feb 18, 2012 2:50 pm

Can I scream,please?

I know that my "new" rig has some leaks, unless the RV Fairies are having parties in there...
All of Texas has been in a drought for who knows how long, or until I brought her home :o
Now the rain gods won't let it stop raining long enough to fix it.
Oh yeah, there's a cherry on top of all of this....
I don't know what I did, but my right SI joint is really messed up. I can't sit, can barely walk and prone is only comfortable for a little while. Did go to the Dr. on Tues ( yeah, that bad), no report back on the x-rays they took....
Did just took some pain mess so now I have to lay down before I fall down.
It hurts badly enough to keep me from going to work on Molly B., but then it's STILL RAINING
I'm not lost, I'm on an adventure!

Oh, Yakn. I'm so sorry. First you must get better in a hurry--then it is supposed to be sunny this coming week!

Scream away, MF!! Sending you a huge cyber hug....hope the Dr can find out what's wrong with your hip, it sounds really miserable. As my vet says, better living thru pharmaceuticals! You and Carra match now. No warranty on your new rig? Or did you buy it used? Be sure and keep us posted on what the doc says.

Vickie, sorry to hear about all your problems. I would suggest you get yourself to a chiropractor. Sounds like you might have thrown your pelvis out of whack. Been there done that. And yes, it will stop raining. But if you are having so much pain, it won't matter anywy. Just hang in there. It will get better.

Thanks for allowing me a mini melt down, I needed that

Molly has her nose up in the air so at least the water that has leaked in will run out the back. That what I get for buying vintage rvs! I am still looking for an old garage or something like that for rent so I can put my "toys" indoors to work on them. I have found 2 more rvs I would buy to repair and resell if I had a place to work...

My back is an issue I have a hard time dealing with, as I hate to be still. So for the time being I have to behave
I am going to PT on Mon. but without the results of the x-ray, they may not do anything right away, we shall see.

Sharon-- I would say this thing with your tooth " BITES" , but I hope you make it thru the weekend okay. Dr. Vicki says, soup and oatmeal for you

I can so understand your frustration with the rain - enough already!!! Whoever said the drought was going to last into this year obviously didn't have a clue.

And I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry to hear about your problems. I think our RV car port was one of our best investments. My first 2 motorhomes leaked a lot.

I did something to my back a couple of weeks ago and could hardly get up and down. Then it went into my hip but is fine now. I'm too out of shape (or old) to be helping my kids move and wash walls. Rest you back and hopefully it will pass.

Hope you feel better Vicki. The rain is supposed to be over now and back in the 70's tomorrow. Saw signs of Spring all over SA today! Green grass and new blooms! So hang in there gf :) Winter is over in Texas!

Gosh. I hope you get to feeling better soon. The roof can wait, take care of yourself first.
And, where are the pics of the new rv? :D

She hasn't figured out yet how to post pix....awesome lady but a little lacking in 'pooter skills. She makes up for it by BBQ'ing a fantabulous steak, tho!!
