Bit Snowy Thursday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Bit Snowy Thursday

Good Morning all,

Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, protein meal bars, toast, OJ, tea and water are on the bar here if anybody wants to stop by for breakfast. No coffee though as I don't drink it, so have to bring your own.

Little bit of snow out there this morning. Half inch maybe. Very wet and sticking to every limb, branch, wire, fence rail etc. Would be pretty if the sun came out. The storm looked like it was going to dump us with a mess of snow today, but as it got closer to MI, it started to kind of fall apart, so now looks likke we may have a trace to 2 inches if even that. Temps are above freezing, so it's wet stuff.

So today for me, it's back to the spring cleaning. All I have left is the walls in my living room, kitchen and breezeway area. Shouldn't take long to do those. Will do the windows and furniture in the living room and then do the floor. Same in kitchen. Breezeway will just get the walls washed as the windows have plastic inside storm windows on yet so will do them when I take them down. Once the walls are done, then I am going to back track and clean the closets and start on the kitchen cupboards. I have a habit of doing my ousisde cupboard doors periodically with Murphy's Oil Soap when I do my regular cleaning, so I don't need to worry about them. Will probably have the cleaning wrapped up by the weekend or next week. Then will be time to start working on my Spring Welcome sign before it's time to put it out.

So I guess I had better be off if I intend to accomplish anything. Yesterday was kind of a laid back day. After gym class and a bit of shopping, lunch and a dog walk, I curled up in my recliner with my laptop here and spent some time looking at different RV manufactuers websites and TT flooplans and all that, just for fun. I have no intention of getting another RV of course, cause I'm lucky I'm going to be able to afford to keep the one I have right now, but I just wanted to compare weights and floorplans to see what's out. Nice way to spend an afternoon. Then watched "The Nun" last night starring Audrey Hepburn. An old movie from way back.

Well, enjoy you day all, no matter what you are doing. Those who are headed to the TX GTG are starting to finalize their plans and will be hitting the road pretty soon. Others are making summer plans, so things are starting to get moving agian. Enjoy.

Good Morning... we are having unseasonably warm weather here in Ocala after the near record cold last week... keeps us on our toes...
I like fog but like to be where the fog horns blow their eerie sounds... makes for an interesting morning when you feel all alone with that sound...
I was down all day yesterday reading and just doing nothing... boy isn't retirement nice... I did however sort some things in my bedroom... one week and my daughter will be here... she wants me to board Shadow for a few days and take me south farther... it will be easier seeing the sights if he is not with us...
Wendy will be here on Tuesday and then Sarah the next week... oh I am so very excited to see them... love these ladies and all the forum ladies so much...
I hope today holds many new things for each of you...

Darn - I forgot my fiber bars for breakfast this morning. May I have one of your protein bars? I don't think my yogurt is going to last long by itself.

My sinuses are dripping, which now means that my throat is getting scratchy and raw. This swinging weather in TX is finally starting to get to me. I'm pretty sure the mold spore count is climbing with all the rain and I wouldn't be surprised if the pollen count is already starting to creep up.

I'm having dinner with some of my high school girlfriends. After over 30 years of still living in the same time, we started getting together once a month. We used to be inseparable in high school. Then life got in the way. I went away to college and they all got married and started having babies.

There's a chance I may be pulling my trailer to GA again in April. My niece's spring break is then and she's being really non communicative about what she wants to do. We have done a trip every year since she started kindergarten, and she's in 6th grade now. But she really enjoyed our camping trip last year so we may do that again.

Good Morning to All - the sun just popped over the trees so it looks like it will be another nice day - although weather report on TV last night says it will be cooler for about a week especially at night. Carnaval starts tonight with lots of celebrating in the streets - don't know if the cooler weather will help or hinder the fun. The main street we take to the Centro Historico will be completely closed to traffic until next Wednesday for Carnaval activities. So if we go over there we'll be taking different streets through different neighborhoods to get there. Works for me. Went to the beach to watch a beautiful sunset last night.
There is a caravan in here now - only ten RVs - usually they are 20 or more. Adventure Caravans. Haven't talked to anyone so don't know where they've been but are on way home now.
No plans for today except pick up laundry and see about getting more time on my Internet stick - have to find a Banda Ancha place.
Wishing everyone a good day.

GOOD MORNING ALL!

The dogs and I are packing to head for St. Cloud and my trailer for a few days so they can get in some freedom from leashes and some running. Dinah may even go into the pond to cool off! I sure hope she doesn't find any holes in the fence around Goog's home. I need to work on her COME command now, as she has SIT and STAY down pretty well.

Saturday night I wil meet Pete from the ORS group to go to dinner at a local St. Cloud restaurant, and maybe sit around a campfire for a while. I need to give him the present I have for one of his treasures in his RV! Then I will head back here for Sunday to see Kenny Rogers at Sea World.

Hope everybody has a fun day. I'm not sure if I will take the time to try to get online for the next few days, or not, but I may, and, if I do, I will be in the chatroom, too. TaTa!

Good morning everyone!

The weather here in Ocala is absolutely gorgeous! The temperatures are perfect with just the slightest breeze and the sky is cloudless.

I've gotten a good bit done this morning. The dishes are washed, laundry is done and we went to the grocery store and stocked up for the next few days. The group that plays shuffleboard will meet 1:00 this afternoon so we'll go to that. The rest of the day will be spent outside enjoying the glorious weather.

Have a good day, doing whatever!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Quiet here this morning except for the wind blowing. Kind of a soft howl for now, hope it doesn't get worse. Use to hate hearing the wind howl as it sure makes a body feel really lonely sometimes. It's been known to bring a tear or two to my eyes. My fave song by Hank Williams is " I'm So Lonesome I could Cry". ;) Good thing that being alone doesn't really bother me!!!

Well the 4" of snow we got the other day is almost totally gone, and good riddance too!!! Only a very few small patches in the shade left. My poor Shade is bummed out tho. But then again when it's nice outside I go out and sit in the chair and she gets to run around or toast her little bones in the sun. So all in all it's a trade off for her. ;)

No plans for today of course. Just being bums and playing online. Might go over to Jodi's a little later. Talked to Brent yesterday and asked him what kind of price he and Cindy put on thier 5'er. He thinks Cindy said either $27 or #28k. He also said that they had went ahead and bought their daughters house as they are in the process of buying another. I'm not really interested in a 5'er but if I had the money to blow I would be very tempted to buy Brent's. It's an Alfa Gold and in super condition.

OK, time to shut up and go check to see what ya'll have been up to. If your parked, have fun and relax. If your on the road, then for goodness sake be careful.

Love to all
