Cloudy Wednesday

Good morning everyone!

We still have thirty minutes till noontime here on the east coast, so I can start the morning post today! It's mild but cloudy in Florida but the sun is supposed to break through this afternoon with temperatures in the high 70's.

I just got back from crafts and we made yo-yo's, which are circles of material sewn together to cover up spots on whatever we're wearing or to be worn as is. They're sort of cute.

We're going to make a trip to the CVS to pick up a 3 pack of sodas that are on sale. Then we'll probably spend the remainder of the day outside enjoying the warmer temperatures. I hope everyone has a really good day.

Our weather is back to yucky, 62, windy and gray. There is a chance of storms but no rain on the radar yet.

I ran into one of my friends from work at Walmart yesterday. There use to be a lady that came around once a week selling sweet dough pies and little sausage bread. She still works in town but said they don't see the lady anymore. I decided to try my hand at the sausage bread this morning. It was ok but missing something. I used breakfast sausage and the french bread in the can. When I put them in the oven I remembered I forgot to put cheese. I think next time I will use hot sausage.

My friend is hosting the annual slumber party for the women we worked with next week. We bring snacks and drinks and have a fun time. She said she was going to invite our boss and his wife to come but I'm sure they won't. I think he's afraid we will get him in trouble. He was never anything but professional with us but we loved to give him a hard time.

I bought a valentine box of candy for us to share. DH gets the dark and I get the milk chocolate. By the time I got there about 5:00 there wasn't much left. Walmart is getting better at judging how much candy to buy for holidays. If they mark any down today it will be gone by now.

It was downright blustery here today in SoCal! Brrr! Cold, windy and rainy. Reminded me of typical October weather in Minnesota. They are getting lots of snow up in the local mountains here too.

I'd like to see a photo of a yo-yo. Can't picture it in my mind

Bought some comfort food on the way home from work...chocolate eclairs and chips and cheese dip.
