We have spent a couple of days just walking around old downtown Mazatlan. So many stores selling everything imaginable
just posted about our first shopping trip - it was very successful. And lots of fun. Hope you enjoy the pics of part of Fridays fun http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com

Just caught up on your last few days. Loved all the shopping, and the tequila making - well, as always, just love traveling with you.

Where will you come back into the US? Sounds like I'll be moving westerly in TX about then - you never know, we might be able to gtg one day.

Enjoyed the video clip very much. Wish it was longer, but appreciate the time it took to add it. Thanks!
I think you were commiserating about folks visiting and not leaving a mssg on your blog. Because I comment here I don't think of adding another on your blog, but also on some blogs when you try to comment you end up having to register or sign in and at that point I back out. I don't need any more passwords etc.

What a pretty sunset!!! awesome
when you use the hair dryer to defrost the freg does it raise the temperature of the freg a lot?
usually I put everything I can into a cooler hope that what I don't have room for in the cooler won't spoil
and let it defrost with out any aids as it raises the temperature up so high hate putting anything into it and
then have to wait for it to cool down to a some what safe temperature and that takes forever so always looking
for a better idea....
thanks for the added day

What kind of project are you working on with the beads? Did you ever make anything with that bead and beeswax kit you got last year?

Carol, I follow your blog every day and love traveling Mexico with you and bill!

Could you post the link to your jewelry site again? I'd love to look around. I recently have gotten into the jewelry making myself. I was inspired by all of the rocks that I tumbled last year and decided that I wanted to DO something with them, so got some wire and made pendants out of most of them. Then made necklaces as Christmas gifts this year. It can be an expensive hobby! But I see you found an inexpensive place to buy some beads! I had to ban myself from going into michaels because I never got out of there for less than 100$!!!!! Of course, I now have lots of supplies to work with, just need some inspiration and motivation! I think my next tumbling project will be to tumble some glass and see if I can use it for jewelry. I have a collection of empty wine bottles that I hope will be thick enough to tumble once I beep real them into chunks! I'll let you know how that works out!

Anyway, really just wanted to say I am really enjoying your travels this year!

to answer some questions. it only takes about five minutes to defrost the freezer compartment - I just pile everything in the sink and it stays frozen fine. Doesn't seem to effect the rest of the refrigerator as we don't shut it down.
many thanks to everyone who gave me the links to the ebook sites. Already downloaded one myself and sent the info on to my friend.
all the beads and beeswax we bought last year is for Bill's projects.......it would drive me crazy putting one bead at a time on a form.....and of course last summer he wasn't doing much in the way of hobbies - just recouperating fromt he bypass. But next winter we are staying home and he will be busy.
I've started to do a necklace with the beads I bought the other day - but haven't really done too much yet. And i promised my self I wouldn't buy and beads this year!
my jewelry site is http://www.beadedcustomdesigns.com I think. or you can reach it through Bill's site http://woodspiritsandleatherartstudio.com
