MONDAY OF THANKSGIVING WEEK

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY OF THANKSGIVING WEEK

Postby Nasoosie » Mon Nov 24, 2008 5:04 am

GOOD MORNING!!

It's much warmer here this morning...+19 F. Still snowing lightly out there, however. This will be a short work week for many of us, with possible family visits for Thanksgiving.

I've made Hazlenut Creme coffee again this morning. Thanks to those of you who informed me that Biscotti is some kind of cookie/biscuit/ muffin thingy that comes in a jar! I've never had it, nor ever seen it in the stores. I will have to make an effort to find some when I next go shopping! In the meantime, I'll leave it to the next person to pass through Barbzee's kitchen to find some goodies for the rest of you.

I'm off to fix the fire, feed the animals, take a hot bath, and get me off to school!

Have a great Monday, y'all!

Happy travels!

Good morning Fernie and Soos!

Smelling mighty good in Zeee's kitchen today! I will put the plates out and the jar of biscotti,... gotta try it Soos, it's addictive! :D I get a big jar of it at Sam's Club once in a while. The variety ones,... plain, choc dipped and choc. flavors. yummy.

I'm out of the shower, fed the cat who lets me live here with her, and had my o.j. and vitamins. Need to get busy and fix my cereal and slide through my forums and blogs and hit the road.

Like Soos,... only today and a half day tomorrow and I'll be free until next Monday! Yeeehaw!

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Got full strength classic roast coffee in the mug and have been guzzling it since I passed thru the kitchen to take Shade out. Yum! Life blood for me this morn.

Boy, sure could have slept longer this morning. I'm awake but it sure wouldn't take much at all for me to go back to bed and back to sleep. My eyeballs keep wanting to drift shut. I've dug more sleepies out of them than you can shake a stick at since sitting down at the laptop. And I've been back out on the porch the second time cause Jenny got up for work and Honey came trotting out thru. LOL She came out, plunked her butt on the floor right in front of the backdoor and gave me the 'eye' to let me know that she needed to go out!!! Very subtle dog she is!!! She's not noisy that's for sure. She very softly whine if she wants your attention but that's about it. Hardly ever hear her bark, but when she does, WOW she rattles the windows.

Cooked up 3 packages of turkey legs last night, let them cool and pulled the meat off. Need to take it work today. Gonna throw it all in the crockpot with gravy when we get there. We're having our Thanksgiving lunch today and everybody is suppose to bring a dish to pass. Ought to be some good eating for sure!!! Kelly has given me orders that I am to be sure to bring any leftovers home for her!!!! LOL

Well I brought some Butter Rum Muffins to the table this morning and some fresh butter from the flea market. Thought I'd use Barbz micro to warm them up just a smidgen then pass them around. Mmmmmmm

Hope everyone has a super great day even if it is a Monday! Stay safe.

Good Morning Ladies. You all beat me up this morning. Thanks Fernie for getting that full strength Folgers going. Smells so good and I need a cuppa. That breakfast cassrole smells good too, and can have a biscotti for dessert. LOL

My granddaughter suggested we fix a breakfast cassrole for Thursday morning to feed the kids. Think that is a great idea.

Got to run, running behind this morning, have a blessed day.

I'm not even OUT of bed yet. My Mr. Coffee went the way of the dinosaurs, so I'll be using a French Press for my coffee ... Mmmmm. Yesterday I bought hazelnut creme coffee (I don't know where the "creme" comes from) and I mixed in some espresso beans for an extra hit.

Today I'm going to dump the tanks on my RV and take it in for winterizing. Finally. It'll be nice to tuck it away for the winter.

It's a sunny day here in Florence - It's about 40 so not too bad.
It's chore day here on the ranch. Empty the tanks, vacuum, call and have the mail delivered, and all the other fun things that go with living inside :D
I'm sure Molly and I will go for a walk on the beach at some point today -
That's it for me - oh, laundry too ! Can't forget the real fun stuff !!!
Enjoy you day.

Since Bash is recouping from her surgery, I am cookind at home this year. I have cooked Thanksgiving dinner in 20 years or so. Bash may be in trouble. We are doing the traditional turkey (bought a turkey breast) mashed potatoes, noodles, dressing, cranberry sauce and some kind of veggie or two. I am baking me a cocanut cream pie and Bash got a recipe from her sis for Sugar Cream Pie she wants. Of course, we will share and not eat the whole pies. Also gonna make a loaf of bread in the bread machine.
I'm hungry already. I love turkey and dressing!!! And pie!!! LOL

Good morning....or should I say Good afternoon because it is after 11:00. I got up early grabbed the camera to get a morning shot and Dan said " What's that in the cat bed!?" We found a dead Bat!!

I noticed when we came back that there was bat poop up high on the corner of the wall on the front porch. Last night I forgot to turn the fans off on the porch and I think the fan must of hit the bat and it landed on the cat bed. Poor little Bat she was quite cute and took photo's of her.

Anyway I made the Jimmy Dean Skillet breakfast with Marbled Rye toast.....Yum
