Great little article on items for the tool bag. Be sure to include Duct Tape and Zip Ties!

Good info on the many ways to use zip ties. Almost as good, well maybe as good as duct tape. :D

I ran out of duct tape a few years back and haven't replaced it - was one I brought with from home. Much as I love the stuff, have rarely needed it - most of the time was loaning it out. But I did use duct tape when my door to my hot water tank popped open while driving, until I could get the replacement part. Should get a new duct tape - you never know ... hahaha.

I use those ties all the time for things. Love them.

Hahaha, Maggie. But I have quit getting WD40 in favor of silicone spray - as I was specifically told not to use WD40 on some parts of the motorhome, but that silicone spray was ok. Forget why.

I always carry duct tape, never thought about zip ties. Karen had to lend me some electrical tape at the AR GTG so I added that to my drawer.

Years ago I noticed the gasket around one of my side windows was coming out. It was dried out and wouldn't stay in the groove and that was all that was holding the glass in. I was on the side of the road with the bunk ladder for my overhead bed duct taping the gasket back in.

Duct tape has always been my friend. Zip Ties have recently become friends. They too have millions of uses. Good article. Linda
