Blustery Sunday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Blustery Sunday

What!!! It's 11:49 Eastern Standard Time and nobody's up yet. Can't believe that. Guess everybody's having a busy morning today.

I just got home myself. Church and then a stop at the store to pick up some fresh veggies and beef broth to make beef stew for supper tonight. Thought it would be good on a snowy, breezy Sunday. Bit of Lake Effect flying around out there, no big deal though.

Not much on the agenda today. Just finished some lunch, will work on scrapbook for awhile and take the girls for a winter walk. MIght shovel off the deck later on too. Leaving the drive go. Not enough to really bother with. Tomorrow is another day.

Irmi, I do take time to relax :) Working on my scrapbook and making those signs etc., are my way of relaxing. I'm not much of a sitter and I do the majority of my reading when I got to bed at night. I do however take a little time some weekdays to catch up with the Sulnday paper before it's time to buy the next weeks

Wishing you all a wonderful Sunday.

Wow, what a bunch of sleepyheads! Been out to mcDonalds for breakfast and to get a paper. Came back to the house to do a couple of things, and am leaving again in a few minutes to go SOMEWHERE, flea market or something. Too good of a day to stay in, who knows how long good weather will last! Thought about going over to the tornado cleanup volunteer meeting place, but they have so many people I really think more would get in the way, maybe. yesterday they had over 2000 met at the high school. Maybe during the week when people are working ill do something. Been talking to Sarah about the great rv pick-up! Everyone have a good, safe, and most of all FUN day. Wendy

We have a beautiful day but a little on the cool side. It's suppose to be back in the 70's this week. I have been cleaning out a bed room in our old house so my son that's moving can store some furniture. I hurt my back yesterday so I can either stand or sit but it's hard to get from one to the other. That house is going to get me yet. My goal for a while has been to finish filling up our trash can with stuff that still needs to be thrown. I am finally making a dent in there.

Our yard needs mowing because the clover is getting deep. My DH will have a fit if I get on the mower with my back so that will have to wait til he leaves. ;) He's always doing things that he shouldn't but I'm not suppose to. Guess I'll just tackle the Sunday paper.

Too snowy and cold, so I keep putting off my grocery trip and errands. Supposed to be 37 tomorrow, so maybe will do things after work. Not too much snow has stuck, but it is really snowing hard this afternoon--blowing sideways, also, so good reason to stay inside and work on my basement.

Nice to have a warm place to stay inside. Wish I lived someplace warmer.

Just read about snowy owls migrating south. Seems a lot of them are being seen farther south than before because of food shortages, they think. A friend took quite a few photos last weekend, and we just don't see snowy owls very often around here. Would be neat to see one.

Almost1PM here in the dreary, drippy PNW. The temp isn't too bad so I'm not complaining as the rain is staying liquid, no ice at my elevation.

Watched my youngest GDs basketball game yesterday. They almost got skunked. Our team made two baskets and my GD's was one of them. She's the littlest on the team, too.

Just got home a bit ago from visiting Little Missy. She's doing great and is awaiting an outing. I ran her generator and emptied the thingee that draws the moisture out of the air. I am amazed at how much I dump out each visit, but can tell it's working as the cabin doesn't have that musty smell like before. Must have been the day for running generators as there were 3 other people doing the same.

While the gen. was running I drove around the RV storage lot to check out other rigs and came across a new Winnebago Profile. As the windows were very tinted I couldn't get a good look, but liked what I saw. I did an internet search and here's a link to a video on it. See what you think. Some things I like but others, not so much. Bet the price tag is pretty hefty, tho. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j03vEZ3FvaY

Ok, lunch time. I make a turkey loaf last night so will have a slice of that with my mixed salad.

Take care everyone!

Read the article on MSNBC about these owls. Amazing that so many of these owls have moved so far south from the Artic. Wonder what change their presence will bring.
