WOW, Birdie, is all I can say! What a beauty---both of you! Thanks, Liz, for showing us that new house-on-wheels and its smiling-over-the-top owner!

It seems that more and more people are going with driveable rigs rather than towable ones. I have decided to be happy with exactly what I have got for now, unless a roasted pigeon flies into my open mouth sometime soon! After all, my Hideout has been my home for 4 years now, and it's begining to feel more and more comfortable. But I sure would love to try driving a brand spanking new Class A like yours, Birdie!

Last I heard in Tx was that you wanted to go smaller....that sure doesn't look smaller to me, sister! Maybe it's just the camera angle! But, oh my, she sure is purty! Wishing you thousands and thousands of smiles in her! Looks like you did a bang up job of backing her in, too.

Now just where are the pictures of Vickie's new rig????

Thanks guys for all the comments. I am absolutely exhausted!!!!! Can't find anything, may have to go to Wally's World and buy it out so I can find...trash bags. I know I have a roll of about 150 that you just roll one out and I don't know where they are. Can't use the black trash bags as Colleen would scalp me and call me trailer trash!

Answer to questions as I can read from my notes.

Sharon - I did down size with this Class A. Bunkie was a Class C at 30'. Suite Pea is a Class A at 30' 11". Could have been the 32K at 33'1" - so this is a Big Downsize to a mere +11". Could of been bigger. I nearly got the Thor ACE and it is 12" shorter, but that did not work out. I did sell the farm house for this!

Mitch - I got the wiring for SP today and the checkout for Herbie on towing. I will tow Herbie to AK by Suite Pea.

Carolyn - This Vista doesn't have twin config. Were you thinking of the VIA. I looked, and looked and looked at that but it was too high for me in the dollar range. The twin in that config has the most storage and flips to a king bed. Awful small....not sure at this point I could live in it.

Gypsysuzy - Sue I will be seeing you in March at Mustang Island if not sooner. One, (1), Uno, Ice cold Martini...your responsibility to make sure I eat first.

Travelinana - nancy I am not familiar with an I sofa. I have heard of the J sofa. This is a regular plain jane sofa with storage box under the seat that pulls out and an airbed that Colleen says is comfy.

Nan - First trip....well the first trip is scheduled for Choke Canyon State park Sunday. Liz and I will take off probably about 9:30 or 10:00 and drive through San Antonio. We should get to CCSP in about 2 hours at the longest as it is only about 100 miles. Never know what you might run into. But that should get us down in time to eat and check out the lake for activities on Monday.

I will be adding the memory foam mattress tonight to the bed. Will see how that feels. If I don't like it will be mad that I got rid of the box! Can't take it back. Will use my sleep number bed. Hate to have to take it out of storage, but will if I need to do so. Biggest thing is going back through my things that I got thinking to do something with/to Bunkie and now won't need. Anyone need a locking gas cap for 2005/06 ford - includes Ford Edge as well as the F450 setup? Need to find my LED's and see what I can do to salvage some $$'s out of those. Think if you need the screw in type. I bought enough for all of Bunkies fixtures which was about 20 and the cost is $25-$32 each. Some tower, some flat, some natural, some cool white. I need the new wedge type 921 and the cost is $27-$35. I do need two down spots and two 1157 types. So lots of things to do to make it mine.

Okay...off to make the bed then a shower and to bed....eeeexxxxhhhhhaaauussttedd

Mitch, I don't have the information here on whether they are Polarized or Non- and if you can use the x9 and x 12 in the fixtures. Will have to check that out. Okay outta here.

Birdie
The trash bags are in the cabinet over the sofa on the right hand side where all your other numerous boxes and bags of bags are located.

That is a beautiful rig!

I don't have a clue as to which is shinier? The gleam on that new rig or Birdie's grin!! Hmmmmm? I think it's Birdie's grin!!!

If you are coming all the way to Choke Canyon you might as well come a little farther south and visit the Valley. Would love to see you, and I have all the "special ingredients" chilling.
