Awhhhhhh, I am truly honored that so many of you took the time to wish me a happy Birthday! It wasn't actually the best I've ever had... I woke up with a sore throat and chills. Spent the whole day on the sofa with body aches and generally feeling cruddy. I sure didn't feel like fixing supper so I got up and around in time to go to a nearby chinese restaurant for a quick meal. Tommy is so sweet. He gave me presents, a new vacuum for the camper, tire covers and a rechargeable battery unit for my camera batteries. He bought us tickets to see Cirque du Soliel next month, also. (I saw one performance years ago in Vegas and was amazed at the talent.) He basically stayed out of my way all day  , but came in to fix lunch and take the pups for some long walks.

I sure I hope I feel better tomorrow...it's our first tour bus trip into Mexico.

All in all, it was a pretty o.k. day...made special by the many phone calls from family and friends. Who wouldn't have a happy birthday when the good Lord has blessed me with one more year, a great family, the sweetest guy on earth, loving puppies and you super-duper forum sisters. Thanks for making me feel so welcome!

Well, Jill, better late than never.... ;) Happy Birthday!!! and many, many, more.....I know how you feel as I'm recovering from the "creeping crud", too....Can finally walk with out my head feeling like it's going to fall off.... Hopefully we'll both feel better tomorrow....

Sounds like that even though you were under the weather, your day was still special...... :)

I sure hope you are feeling better and can enjoy your trip into Mexico. Tommy, sure sounds like the kind of guy to have around when you feel awful.
Enjoy your week-end !
