Yes, I really did it, all by myself, with a car in tow, and the only curb i drove over was in my own skinny driveway. I'm pretty impressed  with myself. I have to BACK IT out, but, by gosh, I put it in, I can take it out! My Mom drove a school bus for years and I'm a better driver than she was, so this will be a piece of cake, right? Right.

Thank you for all the lovely comments.

The door you can see in the interior picture is a french door (with a shade) into the bedroom. Pretty soon it will be a bulletin board for furbaby nose prints.

I have those designs on my truck windows too. I've been told it is "nose art" which is a much more positive way of looking at it.

Good for you...I would advise you to keep posting pictures so you don't forget, which is what I have done. My acceptance for challenge seems to be going, maybe already has. Do the driver and passenger seats turn around? I have a 24' foot and it suits me but I would love to have a real bed and a recliner. I have found I can get this by going up to a 30' and by getting an A the seats will turn around. It sounds like Lazy Days are very good for providing the support you need before leaving the lot.

Congratulation on getting Music home and getting Photobucket to cooperate. Which was more frustrating :) Happy trails, she is beautiful.

The front seats do swivel, and are comfortable.

Hi. After having seen your new home, Music, I am very impressed. You did a great job picking her. She is in great shape and looks like brand new. I think you got her for a great price too. The floorplan should work well for you and the doggies. I hope one of these days you'll let me go with you on a short jaunt. : ) I view your eventual departure with mixed emotions. I will miss you SOOO much.....but I wish you well in your travels. I sure hope you will make it back here to visit us often. You have to promise that, or we will let the air out of your tires and won't let you go!

I hope you get to see a lot of new sights and enjoy the heck out of Music and your new lifestyle. It's one Frank and I have been enjoying for 37 years and I know it is one you will love as well as you travel throughout this great country of ours.
Love

Awww, Fran, your post choked me up! I love Florida and the Space Coast and the Treasure Coast. Florida is going to remain my domicile. 30 years worth of invaluable friendships and a sister is not something I can just drive away from forever.

Truly, I do plan to be back here at least once a year. The more I learn about boondocking and the better I get at it, the longer I'll be able to stay here too. I'm looking forward to being able to stay places near Melbourne where Bert wouldn't have dreamed of staying, like Sebastian Inlet, Melbourne Beach, and other places where old hippies and relaxed retirees hang out :D.

I sincerely hope that you and several other crafty ladies will be taking trips with me!

You Go GIRL! I love it when ladies of a certain generation Just Do It. We all know that we have had to do things that we never expected to have to do when we were young women in our early 20's. It really gave us the knowledge that we can Just Do It. However, somethings we have to convince our selves that it really is not something that we cannot do. I am really tickled you are at it in full strength. I know we will meet you, Music and the critters down the road.

Susan, I'm just catching up on your adventure with Music! Looks like a lovely rig. Hope you have wonderful travels with your crew. My daughters and one sister live in Sarasota, so I can't imagine that I won't be heading here frequently, especially when the rest of the US is freezing. Maybe we'll meet along the way. My cousins are at SBI right now. If a spot opens I'll head over there for a visit.

This morning while I ate breakfast Ford fixed it. It was some minor bug that fixed itself when they ran their diagnostics and "rebooted" my coach systems. I was on my way by 1:35. I had the pleasure of rush hour in Kissemmee and St. Cloud, where I got to be pretty good at judging stopping distances. I was tense and scared, which is tiring, but it wasn't bad at all, and I'm sure it's going to be great fun.

I LOVE your quote from one of my most favorite pieces of poetry, the Jabberwocky! I especially love the nonsensical, wonderful-sounding "'twas brillig and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe.....all mimsy were the borogoves, and the mome wraths outgrabe......" It's been a while, so not sure of the spelling, but it's the sounds I love!

And, as you were undoubtedly on route 192 in St. Cloud, which is where my trailer is housed, and where I get my Ford truck serviced each winter, where could I find you to come for a visit and meet Music and you and all your companions in person???

Anyone can find me on Ashlyn Drive in West Melbourne. There are 11 houses on this street, but only one with an RV in the driveway! :D
