Just wanted to say how happy I am for you and getting to spend some time with you, Carolyn and Nan when we checked out your new RV. You picked out a great rig and you'll have fun making it yours. Hope to see you again when you pick it up.

I am so very excited for you. It is a beaut and you will enjoy it. Glad you stopped by today and will look forward to seeing you when you pick it up. May be that we will be able to camp during that time. It was a fun trip down to the RV place and to see you behind that wheel. Margie and I talked about you on the way home and thought how perfect that rig is for you.

Sharon, she made a liar out of me too. Never thought she would do it. LOL Jokes on us, huh!

WTG, Sarah. Love ya!

I want to thank each of you for all the encouragement. This is such a big step for me - just hope I can manage it.
Just in case you haven't seen what my rig will look like, here's a link with good photos

You are the Sistah of the moment! Congratulations Sarah! I, too, hope you can make the TX trip. That would be a wonderful first for you. So many will be there and look at all those coming across from FL that you could loosely caravan with. If you want to come, I'll be glad to see if I can get a reservation for you. Just let me know.

Oh, you are going to love it....now sell a house and go to AK with us!!! just sayin.... Put the TX GTG in Nov on your list of things you must do. Oh, me, oh my I am excited for you. A rolling house for you and your puppers with all the sistahs out there just waiting for you.

Sarah, do we need to come and pick you up and take you pick up your new rig? Or have you arranged transport down to FL? Excited, excited, excited for you and can't wait to get you installed into it. You are probably shaking at the knees, saying What ever have I done? Really wish we could be there to see you get in and drive off.

Hey we know you done good, because Nan with there with you.

Anxiously awaiting your smiling face.

Kind of reminds me of Carol's new rig on the inside....

Thanks for the ride offer, Birdie. I still haven't worked out how/when I'm coming back to get my rig. Thinking it may be late Feb.

I finally sent e-mail to few family members and friends telling them what I've done (up until now, only the ladies here on the forum knew about my purchase). No notes back yet notifying me they were drawing up papers to have me committed for buying myself an early 70th birthday present.

Sharon - My rig and Carol's are both made by Thor. Hers is at the top end of their line; mine is a stripped down entry level model.

Sharon, it looks a lot like mine on the inside, sans the slide. It's just right for Sarah. We will have to have a welcoming shower for her and the rig. Of course I'm all about a party.
