Yesterday I went to PetSmart and am now armed with a Thundershirt, clicker, pheronome dispenser, oodles of treats and chew toys, and a very skinny wallet. I made 3 stops...Dollar Tree, PetSmart, and Walmart. Simba barked hysterically each time I left him to go in a store....so hope one of these methods, and time will help.

Liz, have you tried the Barkoff with Simba yet? I know you siad it didn't work with Roe, but it surely does work for Molly. And there is no correcting sound from it unless the dog barks, which is very humane and why I like it. Molly used to bark incessantly when I would leave her in the truck to go shopping, and probably in the trailer, too, when I was out biking or paddling. Can't hurt to try, if you haven't yet!

I did try the Bark Off...even put new battery in and tried it again. Not sure if it's even working, but it sure didn't work with Simba.

..

Regarding Bark Off - all I have to do now to shut The Beast up is say, "I'll get the barkie machine." She absolutely hated that thing. It really affected her, in a bad way. When Vickie and I were camping in AR last year, we were over at her camp and Abby was acting really weird and I couldn't figure it out. Turns out, Vickie had her Bark Off on for her dog...she turned it off and Abby became normal (for her...) Sensitive little brat. (Abby, not Vickie, although...)
