Wow! Thank you gals!

I had a great birthday! Just got home tonight (Thursday). Will have more details later but had a very nice time, good weather, interesting tours (inland tour thru the mountains, glass bottom boat tour, and ghost tour), too much shopping (not enough money  ), great filet mignon dinner on my birthday, mini golf, mini bowling, lots of walking, stayed in a cute little cottage, ate way too much fudge, saw lots of dolphins, saw a fox but no buffalo (there is a wild herd of buffalo on the Island), and met some fellow Minnesotans who live and work out there. Fun little touristy town where everyone drives a golf cart. Very expensive place to live (and shop)! Not a place to take kids - nothing much for them to do. Actually, there isn't much going on at all this time of year. Very quiet with lots of shops, restaurants and activities closed up for the winter. Pretty much had the place to myself. Still enough going on to keep me busy tho.

Saw a T-shirt that said "I'm not 50. I'm 30 with 20 years of experience!" Thought that was so cute!

Thanks again!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Belated happy birthday, Barbie. I went to camp at Emerald Bay on Catalina Island when I was a teenager. Boy that was a long time ago.
