I'm so sad because now it's not Vickie's thread and I can't be mean to her, er, I mean defend myself, on Lori's thread. Oh, Beth - you clever thing, you!

I'm heading to Gillette, WY over the July 4th wkend for RVW's national convention, then onto Glacier National Park because I got rained out 2 summers ago. So since I'm gonna be right up there and the sisters are gonna be too, I might as well go on up

Also, for those that have been to Alaska, anyone do a tour to Prudhoe Bay? If so, what did you think? I would never have thought of doing that, but it is on LeRoy's list. I nearly passed out at the price and then the fact you have to fly one way in a small plane! I've avoided small planes for all these years!!
Our date for crossing into Canada going north is not set yet. We plan to take the ferry from Haines to Prince Rupert on the way back to the U.S. - that will be the second half of August as we want to be in Port Angeles, Washington by Sept. 5.
Liz and Beth were kind enough to pass along a lot of info when we are at the PA GTG; a friend of LeRoy's gave us info; now there is a couple in the park from Alaska so we have had some good first hand info.
