Its afternoon here, where is everyone??, No goodies, breakfast, lunch are all over. Getting ready to leave for the GTG. My sis has two bikes, so we'll see if I still remember how to ride one Its a beautiful day and it looks like we just might have a GTG in Fl. that we aren't wearing our winter coats. I'm taking mine in case. (Always in the r.v.).

Slow start today for everyone seems like. I've been struggling with my internet connection as I came home Friday to find no service! The company I was with decided to stop service to Southern IL and transferred the accounts to Frontier! I was transferred Friday before even talking to anyone at Frontier. I seldom loose my temper but I was ready to yell at someone but you can't yell at the people you get on the phone because it isn't their fault. They were pretty surprised at the fact that I had no modem and was totally without internet service. It was late Friday afternoon so won't be able to find out much until Monday morning. Strangely enough I was able to reach the manager of the local Frontier office that evening around six who said he'd have someone right out....right... but they did call at 8:30 Sat. morning and I was back on line by ten. Still no idea what their cost is or why the switch was made without even talking to me. I had auctions running and was pretty freaked needless to say. The manager was not real personable and by that point I was not thinking straight enough to ask if it was legal for them to do this.
It is such a hassle to change all the email information everywhere online and let people know about the address change. I didn't even set up a Frontier address just going to use my gmail account. Who knows when Frontier will sell back to AT&t So that is my tale of woe, my day is going well and as are my auctions so all is right in my world at the moment. I'm off for my afternoon coffee fix. The Stuart made me go for another walk today in sunny Ohio....but he stayed in heal position and behaved himself most of the time. He is getting better in controlling his enthusiasm. Then again there weren't many squirrels out today. Now we are back and I will wait to hear from the FL adventurers.

Sorry to hear about your frustrations, BJ. I think going to gmail makes sense. You can access it anytime you go on line from your travels.....

Definitely think gmail or yahoo mail accounts are the way to go. Have been using my same yahoo mail account for so many years now can't remember - but can't convince my sis to get one of these - so have had 3 different accounts from her this year with changes, maybe similar to yours. Last time the change just said "don't ask" so I didn't

Very lucky here today. Yesterday when I checked in I decided to use one of my 1/2 off nights offered when purchasing the Texas Park Pass (you get 4 of them if you stay 2 or more days at the same park). So I came in for 2 nights and notified my g/f that thought I'd be arriving at her place today that I'll be another day late and get there tomorrow. Then Peaches and I walked the beach and I got to thinking about my g/f north of Houston. Sent her a message and YAY got one back saying she'd drive down to Galveston today. She must have gotten up way before dawn, as she was here at a few minutes after 9. Peaches and I had already had a morning walk on the beach and here she was. We had a great day together and she just headed home about 4 pm. We walked/hiked around the bay side of this park. Then we took a drive into Galveston and looked around - went to the Strand and found a local place for lunch. On the drive back it started sprinkling My car is filthy, so I got a rag and wiped down all the windows. Denise left, and I settled down - and here came the real rain. Wow. Peaches is curled up next to me. Told her we're going to hopefully have a lull in it before dark and get another beach walk in. Doubt we'll have much of a sunset though. Maybe I'll get more blog posts done.

Oh, and Liz, yesterday when I pulled in, the site 2 down from me had water line and a few things out, but no rig - the rig that pulled in - a sliver RT 210. Had to laugh.

Hi everyone!

I was going to post earlier this morning, but we spent some "special time" with our friends in GA before they left for church. We are in Ocala and will go to the GTG tomorrow. Then we will return to Wandering Oaks for the remainder of the winter. The weather is gorgeous and we turned our a/c on for the first time since last year. Kale & taters is on for dinner, so we're going to sit down and chow down. Have a good day everyone.
