Thanks Alice, I was looking forward to your stories. I love retelling the one about the doggy day care bus coming to pick up your dog! Oh and I'll miss your creative outfits!
I decided I needed to save my $$ right now and in spite of the frustration of the photos, my eBay sales are going well, which considering the time of the year, surprises me. I would like to do a few short trips and maybe go west this spring, I do so miss the foggy coast of Oregon.

Good Morning everyone... whew I am now on site 10 for one night at the GTG... they would not change my other reservation... so now I am all set... thanks to CArol!!! But very sorry I will not meet BJ... hope things are different next time...

Abby, my four legged problem child, will be staying with her cousin labs.. as she still is FAR from travel ready. Now that she has bonded even more with me..like Elmers super glue, she has decided in addition to her other "issues".. any barrier between her and me is subject to destruction...unless..she has something better to do like doggie daycare, visit with her cousins (which fortunately she doesn't fight to the death with).

Just got a heads-up from one of the guys in my park and who used to work at the golf course up close to the SP where we will be staying that there are bears (yes plural) in that park and surrounding areas so keep your food up and keep your camp site clean. Now we get to see who has the first sighting. LOL But they may be asleep already.

Last time I was at this park, (many years ago) when I checked in.. they gave me a "bear guide".. as to what to do and not do. The trash containers weren't just locked.. but HEAVILY chained.. and I mean HEAVILY. I didn't see any bears but I was sure glad I wasn't in a tent. Not that a bear couldn't do serious destruction to an rv. I figured park bears might be lazier and go for the path of least resistance though. This park is favored by the bear population. Its a real pretty park.. can't blame them.

There has been talk of piling in a car or cars.. to go to the rv show in Tampa.. I think on Saturday or Sunday. Its my understanding that the schedule of events at this gtg is relaxed, have fun.. when/where as it happens. Nothing in stone.. nothing to scribble on the calendar. Just show up.. and have fun.

Yogi and BooBoo are harmless unless you leave your "picinic" basket out somewhere! Besides, Soos can be the designated bear whisperer and shoo them away.
