Congrats to Ernie!

I love the sunset. I remember how beautiful the gulf sunsets were in 'bama,... looking west across the gulf from the causeway to Dauphin Island.

Woooooohooooooooooooooooo Ernie - the trout are one of the fish people are always after - and sometimes they are pretty scarce. (They seem to know how to hide sometimes - then others they are more abundant).

Good for both of you - looks like you're doing really well with your fishing!

She's a big one! Such a proud fisherman ... how wonderful to be able to eat fresh fish.
Does he fish from the shore?

Gotta get to the beach! I used to watch the fishermen and women plunge pvc pipes into the sand to trap ghost shrimp for bait. That's as far as I would get fishing. I wouldn't mind catching them, but I wouldn't know how to clean it. Is it disgusting?

We've been fishing from a pier and jetty around here, but do have the PVC pipe pole holders for surf fishing and we're planning a day on Padre Island to give it a try......Ernie thinks we'll have his fish this weekend.....it's in the freezer right now.....
