No agenda yet! I thought we can talk about which days for any agendas when we get there. I agreed to start this GTG if I didn't have to do any planning, ergo, you did not miss anything! I will be cooking up a huge pot of beef stew/goulash stuff on Sunday when I get there, so that when most of you show up on Monday, there will be food in a huge crock pot to eat with some rolls/bread, whatever, whenever anyone is hungry! I will have to see where, if any, places would be good to meet for a shared breakfast and for nightly campfires. I know that Pete and a few others would love to go to the Tampa RV show that will be going on while we are there, so that will just take a minute to plan who wants to go, who will ride with whom, and who will prefer staying right at the campground to mind the homes! This is going to be a joint agenda-planning committee this time! So feel free to jump right in!
I forgot to ask who has the banner for ORS and if there is a banner/flag for the Women RVers group that we all can sign??
Just bring whatever you particularly like to eat, what you need for clothes (for both warm and cool temperatures) bug spray and OFF stuff, if there are mosquitoes there, sunscreen, any meds you need, pet food and leashes, etc., bikes, canoes, kayaks, life jackets, whatever for exercise. I have never been to this place, so have no clue how far it is to the water for kayaking/canoeing. Pete was there, and said it's pretty far, so we will need to drive the boats there and back. MY truck will hold a number of them at a clip. For some reason, I had thought the water was close, and I was disappointed when I discovered how far it actually is. Biking should be very good, and hiking also. And, best of all, WE will all be there!!!
Sorry you can't make it, JoanE----was looking forward to meeting you. BUT very happy that Carol and her sister will be able to come! YIPPEE!!!
It won't be long now!
