Merry Christmas to a group of ladies that keep my life interesting and fun.
I slept in and missed an email from my son in the Philippines asking me to Skype him. He is 15 hrs ahead and was past ready for bed after spending the day on planes transporting the injured. He did get to Skype with his wife/daughter and they opened presents together. Oh, the magic of in internet!
DD/family return later today from AZ. I will be at their house awaiting their arrival. Don't know if we'll then open our presents or wait till morning as my SIL has to work tonight and will be sleeping during the day tomorrow.
Weather has been dry, frigid and sunny till this AM. Now it's windy, rainy and dreary.
Hugs and blessings to all you dear ladies. Here's to a wonderful New Year!

Merry Christmas ladies
Off to work in about an hour, I'm ready to go as we had to go do the Christmas breakfast thing at the "x's"
with the grandsons and all the rest of the relatives. It was a great morning. Yesterday was a routine busy
saturday but I expect today to be rather slow. Might be some folks returning later in the evening but I'll be
off about 9:30. Right now the parking lot is almost at capacity, I think it holds 1470 cars and has about
20 empty spots still.
Enjoy your day and make some memories

Herschel here.... Thought you might want to see what the GHL got for Christmas. She can use it back in her office to help keep her warm through Jan and Feb while she saves her gas money for AK. And we think it would keep the Short Bus nice and warm, also. The GHL thought Molly's did a nice job down in KY. Thanks for the idea Molly! My old bones like warm.

"It seems like it should work out, Herschel," comments Remi as he carefully checks the heater out.

"Look Herschel, she has a camera. Think she wants our picture?" enthusiastically observes Stuart while Herschel just patiently waits for Stuart's enthusiastic self to pass.

I hope you all have had a wonderful day. I am soooo fortunate to be in Fl. the weather has been so unreal to me. I had forgotten how the days in Dec. could be so warm. I've sure enjoyed the reminder :D I am spending today at my daughters with 3 of my grandchildren, and that makes for a really great day for me.
My daughter and oldest grand (16)are off playing golf. Little ones taking naps, the Dad is playing his football games on t.v and that leaves me free on their computer.

Beth, you are sooo right when you say we could be lonely in a crowd, it is definitely a state of mind. something we should never allow ourselves to fall into, this forum has helped me keep myself on track at times, so I am so grateful for it and each of you on here.

I will be moving on tomorrow, where hopefully I will be online more, I will never catch up with everyone here, I hope you all are staying well and that you are enjoying this day, wherever you are and whoever you are with.

CArol :)

Maggie here, Herschel, we don't need a heater right now, but I sure like that one, my mommy could use a larger one, I THINK. Glad you have one, Alaska might be another place you will be glad to have that too, when its kinda rainy and you get wet. Merry Christmas !!!!!

Merry Christmas from gray and damp South Louisiana. No kids here today so just Christmas dinner and eating too much. lol You're right Wendy, it's over too soon.

My brother and SIL called from Canada and I had a nice visit with them. She told me about the tv station with the Yule Log and Christmas songs on. I have had one tv on that all day. My brother sure picked a winner in Ellen. She is not in the best of health and I hope I can work a trip to Canada in next year.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all my forum friends. I'm so glad I found you all.

Merry Christmas Everyone
Just got home from my niece's house where we did the children "thing".
That's what makes Christmas for me. Now I'm fixing roast beef and all the fixins for an adult evening meal with my son.
Good food, wine, music and friends, we are truly blessed.

It's been a cold rainy day in my part of Georgia too, but none-the-less a very merry Christmas with all the family. Hope yours was wonderful too. Sending comfort to those who have recently lost loved ones.

Health, happiness, and prosperity to all of you in the New Year.

I am really thankful for all of the excellent advice and courage you have given me over the last year. I hope to meet some of you at a GTG when I get my motorhome.
