Good Morning ladies,
It's the day before Christmas Eve. Baking done, shopping finished, holiday plans laid out, cards mailed (as Hallmark says, cards are not for sending, they are for keeping us together), presents all wrapped and under the tree? Good, then everybody should be ready to let the festivities begin Then in two days, the madhouse of returning it all to the store begins. Arent the holidays great! And there's that day after Christmas shopping frenzy that takes place too. I've noticed the stores around here are getting kind of sparse in what's left of Christmas trees and decorations already. WalMart here is already moving thieir Christmas decorations into what few aisles they have left of it and starting to put out storage containers to store all this stuff in after Christmas is over and put it away till next year. Hobby Lobby has also combined down to about two aisles woth of stuff as well. So I guess the season is winding down. Valentines Day will appear on the shelves right after New Years and then the bathing suits wll follow. Got to get them out so people can buy them before June, when they start putting out the fall stuff
As for me today, I am just going to putter around here. A load of wash is going in the washer right now and I will run the vacum around the house a bit. When you have dogs, there's always dog hair or something to pick up as we know. Then I plan to work on my Winter Welcome sign some more. The vision came to me last night in my sleep (isn't that when we do our best thinking ) of what I am hoping it will look like when I get done. First I have to find some wooden snowflakes that I bought at Hobby Lobby awhile back and put someplace And yes, I will post picture when I'm done.
Well, all I'm doing here is rambling and really saying nothing, so it's time to quit. Hope you all have a wonderful day today even if you are busy getting ready for the big day. Stop and smell the roses for a short. Put some Christmas music on and kick back and enjoy with a glass of wine or something. Course the wine does not apply to those of you who are on the road, at least till you stop and park for the night
