Fabulous pictures. Loved the rainbow. Still feeling the crawlies from the spider pics. I had two scorpions on different occasions in my room. One was pure white and large, just sauntering across the room like nothing mattered. After coming out of shock, I caught it up and took it outside and let it loose on vacant land. The other one was small. My niece noticed it walking across my bedroom floor and screamed. She has a scream she uses when she sees spiders, so I didn't rush to see what was going on. :o She thought, at first, that it was a dust bunny (until she got up close). I assured her that I do not train dust bunnies. Maybe I should and they could just walk on out of the house.  Scooped that bugger up and let him go in the vacant lot as well. I was more concerned for the dogs. They are way to curious for their own good. Linda

Freak me out!!! I don't mind spiders but a tarantula is something else. Sidewinders, rattlers, tiger snakes.....nightmares for sure tonight.

Gorgeous photos per your usual. Great eye.

What a wonderful way you have of telling the tale. I'm so glad you let Mr. T continue to live. I'm fine with them outside, as long as they aren't crawling on me - and I can move them. Jean and I moved one - think it was one of T's relatives - in AZ 2 years ago before heading to MX.

Agree you take wonderful pictures and that rainbow is spectacular.

I must admit that I was drowning in guilt when I read that tarantulas generally only wander 100 yards or less from their "hole-in-the-ground" to forage for food...so that means Mr. T is now really really far from home. Hope he is resourceful and doesn't find he is now trespassing on another's domain. Oh, what a tangled web we weave....
