My dad had two knee replacements....he put it off for so long and then could have kicked himself for waiting since he felt so much better after the first that he couldn't wait to do the other knee. Hang in there Bash...each day is going to get better.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Bash and Fernie,

I'm so glad the surgery went well and that the recovery time will be short. My SIL had both knees done, one at a time, and seems like a new person sometimes, able to do all the things she wasn't able to do for so long.

Glad the surgery went well; I'm praying the therapy & recovery time goes just as well.

GREAT NEWS !! Now, I hope the new Bash knees get well quick and Fernie you best get some better rest, so you can keep up with her. If the days get rough in this healing time, just THINK of all of the fun you can have very soon.

God Bless,
Carol

This is Bash's new "zipper". She walked about 85 feet in the hallway on her first real walk today. Dr. said he would probably send her home tomorrow. They had talked about rehab but she did real good today so he said she could go home. She is sleeping now. We both slept a lot better last night. Tobey stayed at the pet place again last night and I will pick him up about 5.

Bash and Fernie, I sure hope that the recovery and rehab goes by quickly for both of you. Bash, you'll be a new woman with that new knee!

NICE ZIPPER, Bash!!!

As Cedar says, don't over-do things right off the bat, but keep moving a little more each day.

My friend got both her knees done a couple weeks ago and she walks better now, than before the surgery, just in those two weeks!
Here's wishing Bash a continuing speedy recovery!
(no matter how I typed out that sentence it looked to be bad grammer, but I think I got the point across!)
Hugs!
