SUNDAY MID-DECEMBER ALREADY!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNDAY MID-DECEMBER ALREADY!

GOOD MORNING ALL!

I am hearing about an earthquake in Mexico, near Acapulco-----wondering if Carol's and the Driver's rig was tossed about? It was a good-sized quake, so I'll bet they felt it.

It's sunny and warm again here and I am seeing that the temperature at my northern home is just 4 above zero this morning. I am glad Joe is back there to keep a wood fire going in case that Monitor heater decides to go sour again. Mandy and little O are back at her house until tomorrow, as she is making cookies and jams and jellies for Christmas presents to mail. Her satellite internet system just doesn't cut it for Skype, so I will be glad when she gets back to my house so I can see Orion and he can again see me before he forgets who I am!

Nothing scheduled for today, but I know a bike ride and a visit to the pool will be included somewhere along the line.

Happy Sunday to all!

Good Morning to All - Nope we didn't even know about the earthquake until we read about it this a.m. We're over 500 miles from the area that felt it. Which is good cause I don't like earthquakes had enough of them in Los Angeles.
Yesterday there was some hollering and table banging going on though - we found a pizza place right on the Marina where we could watch the "Soccer game of the Year" El Classico from Spain - The team we like won!!!! There is a great player from Argentina on the Barcelona team - he is only 24 and cute as a bug.
thats about all we did yesterday - weather is beautiful - warm but with nice breeze. no plans for today either. Keep a littler electric heater on at night. Did some laundry - like having the washer/dryer in Alfie and did some light cleaning.
I'm still trying to catch up on my blog - We went to Copala a little tiny old mining town in the mountains the other day and haven't written about it yet. And to the bakery - and got some yummy rolls right out of the oven. Heaven

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Yeah I know it's not really morning now, but it still feels it to me. For ever reason I haven't woke all the way up yet and my butt is dragging. Don't know why as I got up at 8am. (yawn)

Little chilly here this morning when I took Shade out for her morning P. I stood out there shivering and she wanted to take her sweet old time. She was busy sniffing the power box pole out front. Must be someone real interesting P'd on it as she has been going nuts sniffing that thing ever time we go out! Finally asked her if she was "all down now"? She looked at me, scratched the grass and grumbled/growled at me as if to say, "nag, nag, don't rush me Mom". Dang critter!! But as least she did finally poop and was ready to come back inside!!! For which I was grateful Brrrrrr!!!

Went and got groceries the other day and got chili fixings but Kelly would let me get any more than one can of tomatoes as she said there were some home. HA!! She was full of bull pucky too as I had to go back to the store and more get tomatoes. And then had to make another trip to get chili powder as we either used up what I had or something cause we sure couldn't find any here! :x

No plans for today really. Do dishes and maybe some 'house cleaning' and that's about it. Such is our wild life! :D

Hope everyone has a good day and be sure ya'll stay safe!

Love to all

Still morning here so, Good Morning! Chilly again, but not in the 20s like it has been. Actually hovering at the freezing mark.

Was at Macy's at 8:30, returning a blouse. Then on to Jenny Craig. I am down 25 lbs now. 5 more to go. Was home by 9:30 and probably going to stay put.

Today it has been one year that my X passed away. My DD called and we talked a bit but she didn't want to wallow in sorrow so we kept it light, and she and her family have plans to go see a living Nativity. Also got an nice, loving email from my son. Please keep him in your prayers as he is on a TDY over the holidays and is still working through his Dads passing.

Thinking of you all and hoping your day goes well.

WOW, Lenora! Congrats on that weight loss! 25 pounds is a LOT to lose! You done good!

I can't believe it's already been a year since your ex died-----it's just simply no fair that time speeds up as we age----I don't like it!

Hugs to you and your kids during this season, and may you remember the best parts of your life together in the far North----there are usually many more positive memories than negative ones. I know it has to be hard for your kids....they will need you and your positiveness. Happy holidays and happy holiday memories.
