How is Mitch?

Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone has spoken to Mitch. Hopefully she is dealing alright with her loss. I am sure she knows that we all have her in our thoughts and prayers.

I think of her every day, too. She's been on Facebook, posting some sketches for an urn for George's ashes, with a blue marlin on the lid. Also another "love" statue with a circle of blue marlins she's trying to get made.

About 8 years ago, when we first moved here to NW TN (I would have been 51 or 52), our neighbor, Fred, was showing us around the area in his pick up truck.

I asked him who lived in a particular house (old, old, but fairly well kept up). His reply was, "An old widder woman." I asked him how old she was. He said, "'Bout your age."

So, I guess I've now become An Old Widder Woman, or possibly - The Widder Douglas. Doesn't life just suck sometimes.

Here I am - drowning in sorrow and grief, trying to figure out what next, and SHE'S making short jokes. Funny, real funny. Meanie. No, I'm serious - you're just downright mean. I think I'll start a petition to try and get you kicked off the Forum - you know, in keeping with the anti-bullying campaign that's big now...we don't need no stinkin' bullies here.

Is it just me or did anyone else wonder if Vickie's "widdle" reference referred maybe to some bladder issue (vertically challenged people can have that too can't they?) .....Doesn't Whoopi sell a product to help with that....especially those older women may be affected.......Not like I would know personally Lov' ya vertically challenged Widder Woman........

Me too, Tina! Me too! Her laughter will live on in infamy, I guess!

I wish I lived closer to the Blue Marlin and I would don my Santa outfit and make a visit, unexpectedly, of course, as Santa tends to do! But, then again, that would mean the resident of the Marlin would have had to have been a "good girl" in order for that visit to come about! Sigh!
