Welcome back, Mitch. :)

Whew, now maybe we can get back to normal around here :) :!: :!: It's just not been the the same without you and Vickie's comments.

I swear I posted here yesterday but seems to have gone poof.

Yes, you are right, I stand corrected. I am 59 years old and still haven't experienced menopause. I still have the monthly visitor with all it's glory. I woke up to that today and went online as usual and bacame insensced, beyond the norm when there was no doodle for such a day as this one in Amercian History and started flapping my jaws, or fingers as the case may be. I will try to behave better next month. I agree with Colleen too, well said.

Just think, Kath----you can still be a mother!!! I am jealous![/quote]

Kath, It started a good conversation, including some funnies with Mitch, Vickie and Martha - so you keep those fingers going - no matter what it's about.

But I pity you not having gone through menopause. God, I was glad to get that stage of my life over with - hahahaha.

I am thankful for the lesson too...and especially to know what 'I feel lucky' meant, tho I'm still not sure I do know. I'm a brunette always have been, but my friends keeping looking for blonde hairs in there. Surely we all have the right to free speech unless it is damaging to another on this site. It's our opinions and wit that keeps this site interesting and colorful. So glad you're back KD and I extend my sympathy with your still having to visit the feminine section of WM

I'm with you Nancy, I wondered what the I feel lucky meant but still don't know what it means. I see what comes up but why put I feel lucky?

There are some fun things in the "I Feel Lucky" search - but it's real purpose is to get rid of extraneous things. Like if you type White House in the search box and hit it, instead of it returning lots of choices, it takes you directly to the whitehouse.org site - the # 1 site for that search. So, if you're feeling lucky and don't want to go through all the other possibilities, and think the # 1 choice will be what you're looking for - that's where it will take you.

But there are, as I first mentioned, some fun things, also. I can't remember most of them - but go put in "Find Chuck Norris" and then click "I'm Feeling Lucky"

Or change the Google page by typing either of the following:
xx-piglatin - then click "I'm feeling lucky"
xx-elmerfudd - then click ...

In both cases, you might think the Google search page simply reloads, but read carefully.

Thanks for the explanation Beth. I had tried I feel lucky one time when I was looking for something and couldn't tell that it did anything. Guess I wasn't lucky. lol
