Good Morning from here too.
Wow, you certainly are up ahead of us Carol. Sounds like you are going to have a good time over there. Enjoy. And even Soos, Beth, Sarah and Lenora beat me to it this mornng. And it's only 8:10 a.m.
But it's nice to see some posts on first thing in the morning.
I was up a bit after 5 and dogs wanted a potty call. So put them out, made a potty call myself, took a Tylenol for a sore heel that I have at the moment and then let the dogs back in. Boy, they sure didn't waste time getting in either. Made a beeline for the bedroom and both of them were clamoring to get up on my bed. So up we all went and they snuggled back into doggie dreamland, nice and cozy and warm. We finally rolled out about 7:45.
Got my cookied baking done yesterday. Two large and one medium large tupperware container full of Spritz cookies. This morning I am going to the store to get some ingredients for a couple of more I want to make, that i just decided on yesterday and don't have all the necessary ingredients for them. want to get some christmas plates (paper) to give them away on too, but first will check my stock here and see if I have enough right here. But I can't believe how tired I was after baking cookies most of the day yesterday. Hmmm, am I getting older you think
But I did take the dogs for a long walk and they crashed after we got home, not to move for almost the entire evening either.
Thanks for the heads up on the Kodak printer Nancy. I had considered getting one of them, but some of the reviews I read, weren't too favorable. But had I not gotten the one I have, I would take a second look. And yes, I do still have my landline phone here, but I did not buy a printer with a fax as I don't need to fax anything. There are places in town that I can do that if necessary. But I can only think of one time when I needed to do it and was able to send it off at work.
Judy, take your time and go at it slow but steady. It will be a long winter. Everyday, you will see something else getting done. Like Beth said, do it steady, but busy like. I too repainted this house and took pictures and stuff off the walls, patched up holes etc., but I have rehung pictures back up. Just not personal ones except for my hallway. If I were going to sell the house, I would leave all but my personal ones up as they dont want a place to look too empty. It won't take much to patch up a teeny nail hole. Your condo should sell without much problem if you are in a good location, even with the market as it is. My cousin's put my uncle's condo in Shelby Twp. up for sale when he passed away and it sold surprisingly fast. Even they were surprised. I think as us baby boomers age, people are looking for something more simple to live in rather than the upkeep of a house, so a condo is appealing.
Well, the sun is rising and the sky is blue, at least for nw. There are lake effect snow showers happening in some areas north and south of here, and with the winds predicted to come from the west, I expect the same for here. So guess I shall be on my way to town and then can snuggle in for the day.
So I wish a wonderful day for all of you. Hope you all have some of the nice sunshine that appeared yesterday.
