Had another lazy day today - enjoyed the sand and sun and all the families on the beach. Flew kites and went to the big supermercado in town. Ended up in a funeral procession - got out of it as quick as we could. Did a couple of posts today -
Tomorrow we'll go to Alamos for the day.

Janet, there is a post on this forum covering their Jeep being stolen (and recovered) as well as on their blog if you go back a few posts. It is safe for Mexico - are you saying it couldn't happen in the US?

Carol, loved the blog posting and the pictures!!!

How many kites does Bill have and how many does he carry with him on the MH? I must have missed and passed right over why you are using the motorhome instead of Jennie this winter. I think they re so beautiful when in flight.

I think there is a lot to be considered before going to any country where there is considerable unrest. I didn't feel Janet was implying that it couldn't happen here but was wanting information. I googled the question as to whether it was safe to travel in Mexico and found these web sites that may be helpful. They have current lists of the areas to avoid which would be very good to know especially if one doesn't speak Spanish.
