Good Morning from Oregon
It's about 50 and cloudy today - not too bad though, no rain
I think I'll drive to Coos Bay today or maybe further south, depending on how I feel. I do need to get to Walmart for a couple Christmas gifts for the neice and nephew and I'm pretty sure Coos Bay has a Walmart, I know they have a Kmart so that will do just fine. I also want to check out a campground there - it may be my next destination.
I've heard mixed reviews of Coos Bays - either people love it or hate it, no one has been neutral - HA !! It's one of those places I need to see just because I'd like to know why it's loved or hated - I'll let you all know !

Nope, not out fishing just yet.....got up about 8am local time..(CST) did the breakfast thing...showered.....Ernie's doing the "blue boy" boogie right now....then it's off to the clinic for our flu shots....yes, us old retired military types get them free at the military clinic, but ya' gotta' be there before 11AM....

Glad everyone enjoyed the updates, coffee, and goodies....Thanks, Barbzeee, for the art work....I love it!!!!

The guys are dealing well with the egos.....but they have plans to hit the pier this afternoon to try their luck....

What a grand morning - with Lori doing an update in almost Zeee style, and Zeee herself checking in with a special graphic for Lori. Wow.

Me, I'm on a crazy schedule this week, but off today because when they realized I was on 5 days (I'm supposed to get 3 now) someone volunteered to pick up today (since I'm working for her on Friday. Good thing, cuz instead of the normal 9 hour day yesterday, I worked 10 - and it was 10 hard hours. Funny - this can be a really easy job some days - but then on others it is hard. Guess everyone just wanted to get everything dirty on us for the Monday cleaning crew!

I think I'm going to become known as the comet queen around here. We actually use a generic form of it - but whenever they say something won't come clean - I grab the comet and use a lot of elbow grease - and generally it works. Was told yesterday there was some type of scum on the bottom tiles of some showers - that they had tried all kinds of products on. Yep, me, my elbow grease and the comet - got the job done.

I need to go clean someone's 5th wheel now - it's a second unit someone here owns - that friends and family stay in while here (his parents will be in it for most of the winter) - but a friend came down with fishing buddies for the weekend, and after my 10 hour day yesterday, I stripped the beds, etc and got the laundry done - now I need to clean it for the folks coming in today! They are family of another couple who are here for the winter. The dad is going in the hospital tomorrow for some surgery and the kids are all coming down to be with for it. Shouldn't take me long - the guys left it in pretty good condition.

My little electric heater is still kicking in to take the chill off the air - but before long it should be warm enough outside to turn it off for the day. And I think we're going to stay warmer the next few nights - hope the forecasters are right.

Was really nice to see so many posts here this morning.

Good Morning all, on my 2nd cup of coffee with 2 carmel almond biscotti's. Drank my first cup of coffee around the neighborhood on my bike. I just love riding my bike in the morning and greeting others as they rides their bikes or walking . Wind is picking up now so glad I rode earlier. Dan is off playing Pickleball and the cats are taking their morning naps now.

Ate dinner with Aussiegirl & hubby last night, today is moving day for them so not sure where they are going to park, they have a secret boondocking spot out by Las Barracas golf course near us that they went to last time. We have company coming next Monday and might have other company this weekend. We are celebrating our friend's 80th birthday on Sunday and so the Alfas are heading to Yuma and we'll probably have one of them on the lot this weekend.
