Friday morning full of sunshine

A good morning from Campbellville, KY. The sun was heading up early this morning when the puppers wanted to take a potty break but don't fear they all agreed to head back to sleep for awhile.

They are not silly dogs. :) Last night they also heard the weather report and the threat of night freeze. I don't have a thermometer at this time but so far I haven't I needed one. When I see all three on the bed I know the message.

"Hey Lady, this is a Three Dog Night!"

"Wake us when the floor warms back up...."

Hope everyone has a good day out here! The kitchen in here is small but we can find you anything delicious treat that will start your day right! Enjoy!

Good Morning to All - we are about 25 miles from the Mexican border in Amado, AZ. Today we'll go to Nogales US side and get our insurance and check out the exchange rate for money. right now our plans are to cross early Monday morning and go as far as Hermosillo where we'll stay at a small RV park right next to the highway.
Yesterday when we got here we both changed into shorts and light weight T-shorts. This morning were in sweat shirts and the heater is going full blast. Desert weather!
Doing any last minute shopping - trying to remember what we can't get in MX - Also dug out all our MX maps and road logs and grocery store cards - can't be without them. Some how though after three years I've managed to misplace the paper work for the Alfa - We got it in 2007 and it is good for 10 years. I know I've seen it since but now ??????? - so we'll see how that works. Do we have to do it again or do they have it in their computer......Also we've heard this year they are making you leave a deposit US$200 to 400 per vehicle - it will be given back when you leave and turn the paper work in. As near as we can figure out that doesn't apply to a motorhome though because of the 10 year thing.
So I'll keep updating the blog as we go along.
Hope all have a great day and safe travels.

Good morning all. Tina I love the pictures, my dogs won't even share the same rug, much less all cuddle up together. I bet you didn't get cold with all those warm bodies.

I just watched the final Regis and Kelly show, I don't watch much daytime TV but will turn it on sometimes when I have a dog on the grooming table. Which reminds me, I haven't finished Andy yet, he hates to be groomed and so we have to do it little by little. I did give Charley his bath yesterday then washed all the rugs and his bed. Took care of my boredom I complained about. I think I'm not going to be bored today the sun is out and I'll find someplace I need to go.

Carol hope you find your paperwork or they have it in the computer so you won't be delayed.

Yes, Tina, love the pix. Sorry I missed dinner last night. I did walk over to say hello but after talking a while with Beth I noticed your lights were out so went on home. Just saw you and Beth and the puppy parade heading down the lake. Have my camera ready and hope to get a shot of the parade on its way back. It has warmed up to lower 40s out there but that wind is biting. Gus and I sat up till 3am reading a novel and watching for the Leonids. Didn't see any shooting stars and didn't finish the novel, but did stay warm with my one dog in the bed and slept till nearly 10. I'm off to Glendale this afternoon to meet with a couple of my Amazon co workers. I understand you're traveling today, so be safe. See you on the road.

Good morning and thank you for the sunrise photo, Tina.
We had our first frost/freeze here last night. There is a large camellia bush by my back steps that has out done itself with blooms this year - been blooming for a month now and enough buds remain for another couple of weeks if cold doesn't get it. Took a couple of photos just in case

It has been a busy week. Just started process for probate on sister's affairs. Had thought the girls would take care of that but the lack of action has resulted in loosing insurance. Seems like one meeting after another. Going to be more costly and time consuming than anticipated as she had not probated her husband's will nor retitled anything. Seems a shame so much has to go to legal fees and such when there is a relatively small amount of assets involved.
I'm off to check on one of the antique malls this afternoon. Not sure if I've got much of a business left at this point but I need to get back to work on something that could be fun..
Lots of sunshine this morning but still cold. Back in 70s for weekend; looking forward to that.
Wishing all a great day.

Poured rain all night and will have on anf off showers all day. Yesterday I got the leaf blower out and cleared most of the wet leaves off my backyard. Too much work using a rake and the blower does just as good.

Got some sad news this AM that my nephew's wife passed early this morning. I will not be flying back to Illinois for the funeral This is the 4th death in my family in the past year and I am emotionally exhausted.

Just gonna kick back today, maybe nap some.

GOOD AFTERNOON ALL---

I'm back in St.Cloud, on the screened porch, with Brody, one of Melissa's and Weldon's cats, and Molly. Our trip to the airport was uneventful, if you can believe it! Goog drove there, and I found the south exit all by myself this time! I left both sets of maps and my glasses and Pete's phone number back here on the porch where I had them so I would see them on my way out the door-----no glasses, hence, I didn't see! However, as I had studied them all several times, my mind had them in store, and I found my way out of the airport this time and to Pete's RV park with no problem at all. (Pete is an RVing friend from the ORS forum who has been up to the Ruckus several times now, and who winters down here in FL just a stone's throw from my son's place.) His place is between here and the airport, so a coffee stop was needed after I dropped the kids off. I met several of his friends and neighbors while there, and had a good rest after the hassles of the past few days, what with the termite stuff, unpacking, laundry, shopping, trimming back the flowering shrubs at the house and weeding the roses, and more. Of course, I was swimming at the pool in between all that!

I just had some maccaroni and cheese to try to get my stomach back in shape, and now I'm on my way to the trailer for some ice cream I just bought at Winn Dixie. Then I will be back here to read more posts.

Lenora I am sad to read about your nephew's wife. You certainly have had much more than your share of sadness and deaths this past year. He will be a lonely man, but I am happy that he has the kids to keep him company and see parts of his wife in. Hugs to you, too.

Sarah is also dealing with her sister's death and the legalities that follow. I need to find out about wills and all, and do something legal before the kids are in those same shoes.

Carol is making tracks for her Mexican winter again----I can't wait to read the blog of the travels!

Tina your morning sunrise was beautiful! I love seeing pics in the morning when I first log on----heck, I guess I love pictures any old time, actually! Your furry crew looks much the same as last winter when I met them all in Silver River Park.....and very happy to be sharing some warmth!

Hope you all have a fun day wherever you may be.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
