Thanks for the pictures Anita, that's the only way I'll ever see underground--willingly My daddy was a coal miner and I always begged to go down into the mine on the little carts but back then women of any age were not allowed as it was considered bad luck. I do remember though that Elenore Roosevelt was allowed to go down at some point but it wasn't until they had to let women work that it happened again. I wouldn't have wanted to be one of the first to get that opportunity
