Herschel here.....
Just want to say Peaches is a wonderful hostess. She has shown us all the neat places to walk around the campground and shown us that state parks with few people in November really don't worry about that leash rule. Cool.
We promise that we go get our leashes back on when we wander back towards the rigs and the people (or see cars coming around the hill into the park) but as you can see this place is sort of deserted.....
It was rainy the first couple of days but the scenery is still beautiful. I knew right away why Peaches had Beth park here.
Peaches suggested we park next to her/ Luckily she said that the other guy that had parked in the grass and used the wrong electrical connections had moved on. She did not appear sad. She did come right out to greet me though. I like the lake view. Remi and I could get in and out of the rig without our leashes especially if we were just jumping out for a quick potty break. We were way to close to the water to let Stuart out without his leash or he would have been wet every time.
The Lady and Beth and Molly got to go out to eat and spend several evenings sipping adult beverages and things like broken pretzels and Amish cheese. I heard that they even visited with cats!
But did we get any snacks back here in the little rig? No way. I think Peaches got neglected too, but we made up for it when we made everyone go for long walks during the days.......
And as soon as the leashes came off there was some wild frolics on the beach and along the shoreline.
Some dogs tried to fight over sticks....
Remi got to watch the swims from the shore.
"Wait, wait, Stuart! Don't go and leave me. Turn around!" pleads Remi.
"Thank you Stuart, I was so worried......" wiggles Remi when Stuart decided to come back.
"Lets just romp around here where we can all play......and I don't have to get my paws wet,"
shouts Remi. "Chase me!"
Tired yet? Well Stuart isn't but I think we are heading back towards the rigs anyway. Here comes the leashes guys. Lets go find Peaches and do it all again, later.
And that is what we did.
We went a second time later in the morning with Peaches! We really like it here!
