Well, Carole and I won't be coming to the GTG. She just finished her 2nd round of chemo and right now she tires so easily that she's decided she just can't do the GTG and then Thanksgiving with all her family coming. We're gonna try for the March GTG at the Texas coast. You girls have fun, fun, fun and we'll be thinking of you.

Aw, Karen, I'm sorry you and Carole won't be able to make this one, but I will cross fingers and toes that the two of you will make it in March. One way or another, I will see you this winter! GTG or not.

Hello everyone, I am sorry to say, you have to count me out of this gtg. I traveled to Quintana Beach County Park, and they are looking for 2 camp host person's. I took the first one starting right away. They are still looking for another person or person's for a back-up. Anyone want it? The place is Freeport, TX -south of Houston. I can hear the waves from my camp! They are looking for someone right away, and -or all of December. The number to call is 1-800-872-7578 my # is 620-340-3560. I will hope to meet you at the next Texas gtg. This is my 1st work camping job, so I was thrilled to get it, and start right away! sorry again. Jacque

Bingo/Chalupa and Flamingo Fooling around at the Dixieland

Breakfast on your own

Pointsettia Tours - there will be a Santa there for picture taking. Maybe he would like to get his picture taken with a group of Pink Flamingos!

Lunch at Must Be Heaven ...here is the pie place we've heard about

Holiday tour of Homes ($15) can use the ticket for both Sat. and Sun. Homes Gift shop is open till 5PM . Last tour at 4PM.

Supper at Cannery Kitchen and Gift Shop

Live music option : Tana Rae and Band 7:30--9:00 PM

Sunday 11/20

Sleep in, Departure gathering, Play as you like.....nothing firm is scheduled since we aren't sure who is departing and who is left....There will be spontaneity we are certain.

Birdie and I danced around the rain this morning and arrived here in Carmine this afternoon. They got lots of rain here too but will hopefully dry out soon. The sky is clear tonight. We grilled butterfly pork chops and made scalloped potatoes accompanied by a nice white wine. See you all soon.
