I think your TV has to be connected to that "round, dime-sized hole". The switch turns the connection to the antenna on (or off if your are connected to cable).

So you think the round hole is for cable. I need a connection from it to my TV? :o
Looks like something to ask Josh next week.

Glad to hear the inspection went well. With all that info, you should feel even more adept at handling those little problems that come up. What a great idea to have your own "personal" guy. I also put in a "wood" vinyl floor and as with Sharon, everyone thinks its real. carold

Lenora...I am thinking that the plug is there for a 12 volt TV......mine has one right next to the button for the antenna..... I specifically found a 12 volt TV so that I could watch the news if available even if just parked in the rest area.....no generator needed to be started. :D

It will run anything that functions off a 12 volt adapter....the GPS, the tire pressure monitor, etc.....

Yes, that sounds like a 12 volt socket which runs my TV while boondocking. My TV can also run on AC with an adapter if I have electricity hookups. It can run all night on battery power and barely decrease the battery juice at all. I bought my 12 volt/ac TV at a truckstop store, and I love it! It also has a built-in CD/DVD player. My socket, like Tina's, is next to my antenna cable fixtures.
