As long as you're commandering the Blue Marlin, how about Soos's and Janice's properties. I'm sure they've just not gotten around to extending their own invitation :? We could be our own traveling circus. Why should Mitch have all the fun    carold

Hubby and I worked for a traveling carnival so we know all about the set up, tear down and running the show so we can definitely help in those areas...we are pretty good at caravaning too so no one gets lost from jump to jump (that's location for you non-carnie folks   )

Where is Janice's property? Hummmmm, might have to think. TN doesn't get as much snow as up state NY.....so as lovely as Soos property is I vote for more months of warmth...... :D

Ali....bet you never thought those carnival skills would look so good on your resume! Experience herding cats? It will take this entire "village" to watch over us......

Are we making our own wine? Or does that need to go on the list. Man oh man, this sitting around looking pretty is hard work! I'll need lots of practice. Now who all was going to be joining me in that job? CRS, CRS, huh?

Mitch will be in heaven with all of us to cook for. She won't be throwing out anything!!!!

Y'all will need haircuts, so I can do that for ya! Between me and Liz, we can also share photography duties.

Is the pond large enough for all the kayaks?

Ya know, this is the first time I have had the connection to read all these neat posts and plans! Believe me, my Adirondack property would be a perfect place to put in some pads and some hookups, hire a sewer-sucker to come on schedule to keep us as S free as possible. In fact, my kids have been racking (wracking, as like wreak?) their brains to come up with an idea to put all that fantastic property, trails, and pond to some good use! I will have to run this idea by them both, and their spouses, to see what they could come up with. For summers and early fall, you can't beat the Adirondacks! My pond is kayakable, athough it would mean taking laps to stay in shape, and it would be stocked with native brook trout so we could have fresh delicacies now and then. The trails are walkable and ATVable. The blueberries are endless in season. The shopping centers are just about 10 miles away. Managing a place such as this would mean the owners could stay at home during the nice months!

Oh, and my forte for any such RV venture would be chief manager and organizer!

I love this idea!

Happy travels!

Soos...love your idea. I think you should seriously consider something like that. And you could rent out your sites to those you want to share your beautiful area with. Count us in...another reason for us to head that way when we are through here at the Lone Star Corral.
