MONDAY'S BACK ALREADY??!!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY'S BACK ALREADY??!!

Postby Nasoosie » Mon Nov 17, 2008 5:02 am

GOOD MORNING TO YOU ALL! I just made Hazlenut coffee, stoked my wood stove, fed Twitch, my cat, found some clothes in the darkness of my closet, and will now sip and read email until I have to get into a hot bath.

It's 28 degrees F. here, and we have an inch or so of new snow. I hope my remote car starter will work today so that I won't have as much scraping and sweeping off of my windshield!

Pull up a chair, have some coffee, and warm yourselves in front of the woodstove! I hope this Monday finds you all in good health and setting out to do something fun for yourselves.

Have a great day!!

Good Morning Ladies, have some regular 1/2 and 1/2 coffee on. I can't drink the flavored coffee in the mornings. It is a cold morning in Florida. We will only get a high today of about 66 by noon and then it will freeze again tonight. Bear won't have to go outside today, will stay in where it is warm and cozy while I work during the day. Taking my one cup maker with me to work so during the day today can fix myself of hot tea. I am sure I will need it before the day is over.

Looking forward to Thanksgiving and having the family in. The baking, cooking and all the wonderful smells of the holidays. During this time of year it always brings back memories of wonderful times. It is always amazing how smells trigger memories. I put my turkey on to cook about 11 PM on Wednesday night and let it slow cook all night. I awake to the most mouth watering smell on Thursday mornning. I always make sure there are plenty of cinnamon buns for breakfast that morning. Make the coffee and have them ready.

Plans are already being made, all the big dishes are being brought out. We always cook too much but that is part of the fun. What's your plans for Thanksgiving this year?

Hope you each have a wonderful day, off to the shower and brave the weather for a dash to work.

Good morning ya'll. I couldn 't sleep!! I got on a pot of full brew---- need all the help I can get today. It is gonna be a long day.. Bash's surgery is today at 1:30 in Murfreesboro. We have to be there by 11:30 so we will drop Tobey off a little early at Safari Pet Resort on the way to the hospital where he will stay overnight. They have 2 outdoor pens for playtime with the other doggies and a big indoor play room. He will absolutely love it----may not want to come home with me tomorrow night when I go to pick him up.

Since Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away, I will be cooking here this year since Bash will be here and not be up to getting out yet. She usually spends Thanksgiving with her family in Indiana then heads for AZ. The fun part-----I haven't cooked Thanksgiving dinner in 20 years!! LOL!! Oh well!! I am looking forward to left-overs. That is what I don't like about going somewhere else for Thanksgiving------NO munchies afterward. I'm going to do all the traditional stuff for our family---turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry salad and of course pie!! We won't do sweet potatoes probably although I love them. They aren't Bash's favorite so I'll wait and fix them for me some other time. Oh----We are also going to make fresh bread and Bash wants deviled eggs. Sounds like we need some company to share all this with!! Gonna head for another cup of coffee!!

Gooooood Morning!

I'm up? But I'm trying to stay asleep. HA Went to bed at 10:30 last nite so I set my alarm for 6 this morning and finally crawled out at 6:20. Sure didn't want to.

Got my coffee pot sitting on the counter with regular old fashioned Folgers Classic Roast in it. And I've been working on draining it. But there's enough to share. No baked goodies or even store bought goodies this morning to be had. We got out of work and came straight home last nite. Ate some leftovers and went to bed after reading some of the posts from last nite. Working 12-9pm is the pits.

I see we have a new member posting. Girl?? If a requirement to join was owning an RV? They would have barred the registration and locked up the Welcome on me years ago. LOL Come on and jump in. We don't always post about RV stuff.

Ok, I'm bathroomed, coffee'd, dressed, coffee'd some more and bathroomed again. And Kelly is showered and dressed too. I messed up somewhere cause Kelly doesn't do coffee? She must be a changeling or something!!! So I had better get the old butt in gear.

Hope ya'll have a terrific day and please stay safe.

Love to all

Just popping in to 'morning before I head to work. Nan..I use the "low octane" coffee too. About 10 years ago I went through a stage that my pulse would start to race..seems that I was drinking just a little too much coffee and diet coke. Dr. told me to switch to no-caffeine everything and it quit..but after a year of feeling like I never woke up I found Maxwell House 1/2 and 1/2...does the trick. But I'm still pretty much off the Diet Coke and have turned into a water freak during the day. Have a good one!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Morning every one - taking advantage of wifi here in Oklahoma City. We'll be leaving here in a little while, as soon as the sleep is out of the eyes and the new pot of coffee is made. Bill's back has been bothering him again (had surgery in January) wonder if it is the driving....Went to the Oklahoma City National Memorial and the Cowboy Museum yesterday. Watched the end of the race - and veged out. Heading towards Texas today, probably stop in or near Amarillo. At least it is in the 60s and no wind. Will check in tonight if possible. Every one take care.

Good Morning !
I'm having my Diet Pepsi this morning - maybe some cereal later on. I'm not a big breakfast eater, unless someone else cooks it !!
There's a pretty sunrise so I'm guessing it'll be another bright blue day here ! The forecast is calling for "nice" :D
Murphy the cat goes to the Vet today for his annual shots - Molly will be so upset when I leave her behind !!! I may have to take her along .... darn kids ! HA !!!
I have lots of chores to do today - Monday is "dump the tanks" day - my black tank sensor always says full so I just empty it once a week. So far that seems to work. Lots of others boring, routine stuff to do - I try to get most all that crap done on Monday.
I hope to fit in a trip to the beach today - if not, Molly and I can just walk around here - we have a nice route through the neighborhood.
I hope you all enjoy your day !!

Good morning from TX, beautiful sunny day here too. But I decided to save the chores for tomorrow and head out to Enchanted Rock for a hike today. Yesterday morning I met with a local guy for an introduction to "race walking".

It was really fun and a good work out. The rest of the day was helping DD with an IKEA shopping trip then unload and getting her new place a bit organized. Have a fun Monday!

I'm trying to cut back on the candy I eat, so this morning I cut a caramel into 3 pieces and that did three cups of tea. I feel so virtuous. Nan, I'm using paper plates, and everytime I fill my plate I think of you. Remember the GTG with Liz and Beth? I was filling my plate and was outraged that you wanted one of my stack. I had got into the habit of eating off a stack of paper plates because it makes them sturdier. I peel off the top one, then I'm ready to go for the next time. Well I forgot I wasn't alone that day. and YOU demanded one of the plates. Well really!
I'm off to see what Cottonwood is all about....hmmm, slightly deranged one armed man...he's going to run like the billy-o when I yell, "Hey, do you know Trudy?"

It's almost 7:00 p.m. and I suppose I should really feel like a slacker for not going to work tonight. But, I don't. Went geocaching with a friend early this morning, then came back to work on an RV flag for another couple. Watched a good movie on my new DVD player, and am now going to find something for dinner. Will make up the bed, check the forecast to see if I need to unhook the water hose, and then read a mystery another friend brought over this afternoon. I could get used to this loife.
