Northeastern Sistas in the Snow?

Wondering if our normal "Morning Greeters" who haven't posted this morning are doing ok with this early snowstorm and power outages. I haven't looked at a weather map showing the storms reach but I have a feeling they are likely without power now...maybe. Look forward to hearing their strories...This too shall pass.

Not a single, solitary flake of the pretty white stuff up here in the Adirondacks or the St. Lawrence Valley! I am so disappointed! Pats of MA got buried, and many are without power in several New England states.(around 4 million without power they are saying on the news) I feel gypped!

I'm sorry for all the havoc the snow played, but I'm eternally grateful that it's waaaay over there. I spent my day in shorts, a t-shirt, with the house wide open. It's still open, for that matter. Had a lovely dinner of grilled pizza and a double-cream lemon pie from Marie Calendar's. Can't get much better! :)

Hello All,

Not a pretty sight in Hartford right now. Halloween has been cancelled due to down trees and wires, no lights, many people still without electricity. First time in the 23 years that I've lived in my city house that I am without electricity. My beautiful shrubs and flowering trees have been decimated and I have a huge branch from my neighbor's tree resting on my second floor sunroom!!!!!

Other than that we're fine.

Ouch, Peggy. Hope your power comes back soon and the damage isn't as bad as it sounds.

Irmi, glad to hear it's not bad by you.
