Left Deming after fueling about 9:30. Flew thru Tuscon, hardly any traffic, but the traffic thru there isn't usually bad unless you hit it at work times. Truck islands here, so I'll fuel here and that will get me home. BF said diesel was about 4.17 pg at home. It's 3.83 here. I paid 3.69 the other side of El Paso and at the Valero a mile from last nite's CG. I think regular gas was 3.25 there.Evie, made the I-8 transition this time without missing it! Tee Hee!
Made the mistake of mentioning GTG's in Texas and Florida to Hope...bad bad mistake! She kept trying to turn around and go back! Durn RV, I told her we HAD to go home! Then I told her we would be taking off for Mammoth Wash and the sand dunes for Thanksgiving. She said she wasn't impressed, she wasn't real crazy about 20 miles of washboard road anyway. I told her to suck it up, she didn't have a say in it and if she thought this family was a democracy she had another think coming.
Called Jenny and she's having her annual Halloween party tomorrow nite, but I really don't want to un-hook for 1 nite and she already has friends coming to stay on her lot, so will probably just blow on thru Yuma and wave as I go past. Could possibly get home tomorrow, we'll see how I feel. There are several places I could land for the nite, so it's not a problem. Hope everyone has a great nite!
