I'm so sorry Liz. The best gift we can give our furbabies is swift passage -- in our arms -- when their times come. Godspeed Roe, and my heart goes out to you, Liz.

Liz, I am SO sorry to hear about Roe. I sure never gets any easier, no matter how many pets we have sent to the Bridge. You gave him a wonderful life, he was sure a lucky dog! Give Bandit a big hug too, since he has lost his buddy and is probably very sad as well. Keep each other company as you both mourne Roe's passing.

Can't smile yet, but I will as soon as I can quit crying. What a great pooch he was, I just loved him to pieces, even if Chewy did errrrrr at him...what does she know. Big huge hug for you and for Bandit, too.

Bless your heart, dear Liz! If it's any comfort, most all of us have been where you were... and so we DO feel your pain.

Thank the Lord for your memories,,, and then when you can,, go make some more...perhaps w/ a new furry friend...someday..soon?

I know you will find more pleasant paths real soon, to share w/ us,,, and I, for one,,look forward to reading about them and seeing the new pictures...

love ya!

Love and tears overflow for you and Bandit... You gave Roe a wonderful life... little did he know where he was going when he was dropped off at the rescue...

Liz, please know my heart and hugs go out to you. It never gets easier. Roe was such a lucky dog to have you in his life. I'm still missing my Sassy and I know Buddy's time is getting nearer. We could save ourselves so much heartache if we just didn't get these guys but then look at all the unconditional love we would miss. I can't imagine my life without my furbabies.

Liz - What a beautiful tribute to your handsome Roe, your (and Bandit's) special companion. You both are so fortunate to have shared so many wonderful times together. And we have been blessed to have virtually shared many of those adventures with you and Roe.

Sweet memories,
Linda

You brought Roe to life for all of us that didn't get to meet him in person and he will live on in everyone's thoughts. It is so hard to lose your best friend but harder still to never have had them in your life. Sweet memories of travels already taken together.

Roe, what a memory maker. What a great tribute to a fabulous companion dog. I, too, shall miss him because he was such a sweet dog.

Liz, I am so sorry to read the news about Roe. I posted on the other thread in pets. I always read the forum from the bottom up, have always done things backwards I guess.

Roe was certainly one special guy and the two of you brought so much joy into each other's lives. Hugs to you and Bandit. Bandit will take his place as new co-pilot. Linda
