Oh Liz, I am so sorry. I have tears running down my face right now as I write this. That was a wonderful tribute to wrote to Roe and I'm sure it was one of the hardest things you have done. There isn't much any one can say at a time like this as those of us who have lost beloved pets of our own, know that the hurt in our heart takes time to heal. But I thin it was wonderful that you and Roe took one more walk together and it helped him on his way. allthough I never met Roe, I know that he had to be one of the happiest dogs allve being with you. The places he went and the things he saw and did are only dreams for many dogs. So many spend their lives in kennels or in fenced yards and never see anything beyond that.
He's up at Rainbow Bridge now and running free, free from pain and sickness and cares and worries and will be waiting patiently for that day when you two can again, walk the trails of heaven together. Take care my friend.
