Last Saturday of October

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Last Saturday of October

Yoo Hoo,

It's 9:30 a.m. Where is everybody? Are we sleeping in today? Or are those of you on the east coast waiting for the storm to strike.

It's trying to be sunny here this morning. Hope it stays out, but they say it's not supposed to. This time of year it plays hide and seek most days. Although we aren't seeing the early snows that CO and the east coast are getting, we are having some rain/snow mix now and then. Old Man Winter is knocking at the door.

Nothing much doing around here today. Just puttering with this and that. Most of it will depend on weather. If it stays fairly decent, I will work outside and burlap, if not, I will make the covers for my low shrubs in front of my porch so they will be ready to put over them later on. Picked up the plywood yesterday.

See on the Weather Channel, that there is a tornado warning out in FL, down near Jupiter Beach area. Not a normal thing for FL. East coast storm is moving along and Soos is hoping for snow so she can go skiing at least once before she heads for FL.

And I'm going to move along as well. Time to get this day going. Those in the Northeast, take care during the storm and I hope none of you lose power, those on the road, travel safe and enjoy the scenery. And to the rest of you, have a wonderful day.

GOOD AFTERNOON TO ALL!

I just got back to my house, brought in some firewood, had a short visit with Issy, went to get me a pizza for supper/breakfast/lunch, looked high and low for my nice canvas log carrier which is nowhere to be found, made a pot of coffee (my first of the day as I didn't want to waste time making some this morning), and will now get caught up on posts and email and whatever. So far, I seem to be staying logged in on my home desktop computer. I will try my laptop on this WiFI next to see if it's the connection or the computer.

I am really praying for just enough snow to get in a ski session, but the radar looks not very promising for us this far west and north. Temperature is about 35, and could be colder for a good snow...sky looks like snow. We shall see.

Sorry to hear your pain is back, Kath----I sure hope the rheumatologist can do something to help you. The long drives don't seem to do you any good. I hope you can get to FL with less pain and agony this year.

Off to read and post, if I can stay logged on! Have a nice Saturday, everyone.....send snow my way!

Happy travels!
